(Part 3/3)
Sorry if the game still has bugs or balancing issues, most of them are fixed in the full game based on that SUPERHOTline Miami Demo I'm working on; here's a link if you're still interested by a two-bit developer's games : https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Falbatr.itch.io%2Fshootout-inc
I don't know why the game doesn't work on Firefox though, it runs fine when I open it on it's own, but controls don't work when the game is opened on kongregate. I'll investigate.
Thanks for reading, if you did :-)
(Part 2/3)
But please don't accuse me of things you don't know shit about, that's insulting. This game started as a little demo for testing purposes (I thought the 2 games would fit really well together) with only 2 levels, made more than one year ago, during 2 consecutive nights without much sleep. Then I posted it on Twitter not really hoping someone would notice it, but the official Hotline Miami/SUPERHOT/Devolver twitters shared it and that's how it started.
So yeah, I definitely planned all this, only to get plays for a game I never asked, nor recieved a single cent for... And I definitely did that in the backs of the owners of the original games...
I stopped working on this game at least 3 months ago, I've been releasing updates for almost a year (I added new graphics, new sounds, new levels, new weapons, fixed bugs, added a level editor that almost no one is using, but everyone was requesting it), on my free time, now I'm done.
(Part 1/3)
I wanted to reply to Gardeminer's post and give some more info about the game at the same time, the "post a comment" button won't let me do it °°
Here's his post :
"Yeah, this is just the work of a two-bit developer using the names and success of two much better games to get plays. The collision boxes are off, half the time you'll get caught onto a wall, and more."
And here's what I wanted to say :
Yeah I'm a horrible person, I know that, but here are 2 funfacts for you :
- I had a chat with SUPERHOT Team about this game (they contacted me first btw), and they think it's cool, and allowed me to create a full game based on this demo...
- I know an artist working on a game called Mother Russia Bleeds published by Devolver, he showed the game to Dennis Wedin from Dennaton who also thought it was cool enough to let it exist.
I'm completely ok with the fact that you don't like the game, it has flaws, I know that, because I made it.
No drama intended btw, I just wanted to clear things up :-D
