For anyone as confused as I was, the actual instructions are in the "description" instead of "instructions":
To gain bonuses, you need to step on consecutive tiles of the same type. The longer the streak, the bigger the bonus.
You get extra time from blue tiles, extra moves from green, and score from red tiles.
Every tile you step on gets switched to another one, so you always need to think fast of how to optimally go through the grid to get the best results.
Okay, 5 mins in and I still can't click the settings button. The volume is too loud and I shouldn't have to change my computer volume to play a game. The inability to change the volume ruined the tutorial, I was clicking every highlighted area without reading just in the hope that after this segment of the tutorial I could turn the music off and lower the game volume. First impressions in games are important, and in my mind if something so simple as the volume can't be changed at the start then there's likely a ton of other things that are wrong with the game too, and that's why I didn't give the game a chance. Maybe I'll come back to it at some other point.. maybe I'll forget. Woo!
Sound is far too loud, and you can't even click on "Settings" because everything is greyed out while the game is holding your hand through the tutorial.
Was ridiculously hard, but I got up to like the 10th level or something, the level where you're racing against another car and the car changes colour about a quarter of the way through. That was hard :/
also rather annoying when you're transporting illegal substances and accidentally allow them to check, and they confiscate it all... very unrealistic, i'd kill them all -.-
Controls were terrible, but the game got a bit more "fun" at the end, where there was actually a risk towards shooting the ball thingy rather than just walking up to it and shooting it.
Modified Guodlca's 8500 miles golf-ball-moon to unknown-amount-of-miles-but-it-lagged-my-computer-far-too-much-with-the-ball-trail-on miles. It was preeeeeety far.

To beat level 11 you need to wait for the CPU to split his biggest nano in half, then send all your nanos into that unit, then its fairly straightforward and you'll have the upper hand. :)
