The Red Army did have female soldiers... Haven't you watched Enemy at the Gates or played Call of Duty? Google "Roza Shanina" (even used her name!) and you'll see that they did. Also, fascism is a collective term that can be applied both to Italy under Mussolini and Germany under Hitler.
