Spelling and grammar fail right off the bat. Gets one star for that alone, but I'd love to give it zero because this isn't a "game" at all.

Please fix up all the grammar and spelling issues in the dialog. It's a huge turn-off and made me put down the game as fast as I thought to try it.

As many people have suggested, a stats page of some sort is in order. You can max out some things and not even realize it (trying to use a ring improves nothing further). Almost all of the game is too easy, with the exception of two boss encounters: the vampire girl that blows kisses and the end boss. The "nom nom" levels are just frustrating because they can be easily won if the random number generator favors you, and can be impossible if you get bad pulls (weak spells against tough enemies that can one-shot you, for example).

I enjoyed the game. It's too easy, though. I blasted through all of the levels quickly once and got most of the better skills. Then I went back through and polished off every gold. Only the last two levels pose any challenge at this point. I actually had to go back and play through all the rest once to get a full completion (three plays per level). Thanks for the game, though. I'll be looking for the sequel and hopefully a challenge from it!

The game would get a higher rating from me if only the developer would fix the score submission bug. If Kongregate disconnects while you're playing and a score is achieved, there is no way to re-submit the score in game and it never keeps your highest score anywhere. Plenty of games on Kongregate do this, and they'll automatically sumbit any scores which were missed while disconnected.

The game is fun, but I am scratching my head on the "melee" mode where the player stabs bugs that land on him. Someone sadistic thought "bugs land on people, that sure seems like fun to implement in our game." Nope, they're almost as annoying in game as they are in real life. Once knife is thrown (by accident most of the time), you have to wait with the screen obscured until it comes back.

McLordahue - There is a way to avoid having this spell cast upon you by gaming the AI. Use as few units as possible to take everything. By the time you'll be able to use your mega spell, the enemy will be able to use his. Leave your units in a building and don't touch them. It's the upgraded units the enemy AI wants to steal most and it won't be able to touch them unless they set foot on the battlefield. Create a bunch more weaker units and finish the area with them and you're unlikely to trigger the spell.

Or, instead of trying to use glitches to finish the game, you could just try playing it until you finish it in order to have a sense of accomplishment. A novel concept, I know.
