The last rooms are too freaking dark man. This is a nice ambient puzzle game right until the end, when it becomes a game of find the tiny pitch-black switches in the pitch-black rooms.
@mertgokberk:
Sharpies are tricky. You have to dodge them / knock them away from you until they withdraw their spikes, then strike fast.
And amalgams aren't made from anything, they're a base type.
I don't find this game boring at all. The beginnings of each nest are somewhat bland without all the ramped-up baddies, but that's what hardcore mode is for. I'm totally addicted to this game. 5.
regarding my comment just above - this issue seems to be worst on the first song, which makes some sense because that kind of dramatic piano music tends to be a little loose on the timing for a less robotic effect. I just tried the third song and it plays much better.
Still, if you're going to put a song in the game, you should go through it and make sure the sound actually syncs up with the game notes. Raising my rating to 4, though.
It's ironic that a game called 'Feel the Beat' would have such terrible callibration. More than half the notes hit the circle too early, resulting in just 'greats' or even misses for hitting it at the moment the note plays. If that was fixed I would give this game a 5/5, but the way it is now I'm only giving it a 3.
The early exploration is fun, but it seems the game turns into a 'find item, walk all the way to the other side to use item' kind of deal. Not bad overall though, 3/5.
