"Megaminificent." At first, thought it was a misspelling, then took a closer look. You heard the palms hitting foreheads as soon as you wrote that, didn't you?
The hardest part will be waiting for the next game of the main series... I can only hope that you find it easy to work on that one, Vasant! May good luck be with you!
I am not sure what makes me hate McChickens more... Lasers of death, despair and agony... Or when I used to work at McDonalds. Oh, who am I kidding, customers are the worst generally, way worse than elephants. You have earned a 5/5, and may we see you again one day.
It is a little bit scary that the shaman actually had a couple things right... I really AM a cat person, and my favorite color is red... Yeah, definitely leaving this game, too creepy there at the end.
April 29th, and I have played this on May 5th... I am no longer allowed to call myself a fan of your games. It took me a week to notice the new game! There is nothing I can do now, I must go confess to a murder and hope I can pay for my sins...
Okay, now that I have that out of the way... 5/5, as I rate almost all of your games. I do rather like the new 3D perspective, and I hope you will continue with it. It gives a rather new and refreshing view of the game, sets it apart from any other RPG Maker games I have played. As others have said, though, the skating effect is a bit much. Hopefully that can be toned down a tad. Have a good one, Vasant, and looking forward to your next game!
I think I feel safe with this game, to say that all games I see from you will get a 5/5 before I even start playing from now on. Thank you, Raius, for giving us games that focus almost exclusively on story. Not enough games like that anymore. Too many that axe the story altogether, focusing only on game play instead.
Oh, so THAT is why this episode was so... different. The awful riddles, the fire puzzles with timers, and all of that. BURN THE POST OFFICE FOR THIS TRAVESTY! MAKE THEM REGRET THEY WERE EVER BORN!
(Okay, being a smidgen more serious now... This game was okay. I personally just hate timers, but besides that, the fire puzzles were okay. Once I started to ignore the timers, those fire runners became far easier. I am unfortunately being serious about the riddles, though. Quite a few of those were terrible, leaving me just selecting all of the answers to find the right one... I am surprised I only picked up 1 Game Over.)
I rate Kong 1/5 for not having this Badged yet, and I rate myself 1/5 as well, for taking this long to see this part came out. 5/5 for the game, of course, and I must remember to check for the next part on the 15th!
Bontegames. One of the few developers here on Kong where I like almost every single game they come out with. Looking forward to the next game! (Also, agreed, Red is the best.)
The game itself was good, looking forward to more. However, the best part was the Medieval Co- ... God trailer. Can't wait to play it! ... Now that I think about it, I might just be happy no matter what games you put out. Not too many Devs on this site that I can say that about.
Wish I was feeling better when I tried this game. Just been feeling too sick recently to try and learn Japanese. Will have to remember this game for when I no longer have this sinus headache, been rather interested in learning Japanese for a while now.
It took me until level 3-3 to realize you hated the players of your game, then 3-4 put it in concrete. Can't wait until I see 3-x to see how much you loathe us. :D
EntForge, there is a glitch on level 12. If you solve it to fast, you do not return. Easily solved by just reloading the game, but wanted to make sure you know.
I did not say you never tested your game. However, I can see where one would think that was possible. And because it is indeed possible to have construed it that way, I apologize. Apparently I need to work harder once again to place my words right so that misunderstandings can be avoided. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to orchestrate the words for the rest of this comment, as I am leaving shortly and won't be back for a few days. I hope you do not take it as an insult.
What motivation does the average gamer have to finish your game? You have a vested interest in your game, so you are willing to practice it over and over to get good at it. Would other gamers do the same?
Does precision really make for a difficult game? Not if it is from the very beginning. Precision from the start makes the game seem standoffish. I would have to ask here again, would other gamers want to play the game?
Unfortunately I am out of time now, so cannot array my words better.
I dont think lots of people would spend their time to this game to be better because the combination of bad graphics and some things that look like glitches make the game look like a fast and messy game. I just wanted it to be a little bit chaotic so and maybe a bit scary but i think i failed. But i assure you the game is very well thought and have lots of hard riddles to solve in a combination with precision so that even tho you someone finds out the tricks of every level to pass, it would still be hard to pass. Combination of cleverness and timing. I just wanted to make a *different* because nowadays all the games are created with tutorials and step by step instructions like we are retarded or something. And i am sure most people give up at the 4rth level because the game starts there and they dont have the patience to play a *mediocre* looking game with deeper meaning. And as for the misunderstanding dont worry, you misunderstood me to so we are even :D ..
Developer response from zoniq
I HAVE FINISHED THE GAME LIKE 30 TIMES AND IM NOT A HARDCORE GAMER, if you get used the game its always first pass with 2 jumps ITS NOT THAT HARD NEEDS TIMING, its supposed to be a hard game. :)
I would like to point out to you, that it is extremely insulting what you have said here. You came to different chat rooms to ask for us to come play your game and let you know what we thought. I don't mind if you do not like my advice. That is up to you. However, to insinuate that I am not a good gamer because I thought you should possibly look at the distances of certain objects again? I am sorry, but that does not seem to be a good practice to start if you want people to play your games.
I do believe you have permanently lost me as a fan of any games you might make. I just hope you think about how you talk to potential gamers in the future, whether this was an accidental insult, or you did it on purpose.
of course i didnt do it on purpose my friend. But if you think about it YOU insulted me on your first post. it was like i didnt play the game at all and i just uploaded it here without testing it like i am a bad game designer, did you think about that? And then i just pointed out that i have finished it a lot of times and tested it alot, and this game just needs practice to master its not a one time game. It wasnt going for you it was going in general that even tho its not for hardcore games the average gamer like me can pass it if he practice on it.
And of course i didnt got insulted by your post i think negative posts are better than positive because they make you better, if all posts are WOW AMAZING, ROCKS etc the designers wouldnt care too much to make them perfect.. :)
Thanks for the ratings. Though it will get more dark before it gets lighter again. :)
