Pretty neat game - but is anyone else having an issue where the generator doesn't fill from the oil tank? It's on the first level where you build mines.
If this game was called 'scare the snot out of yourself in under 5 mins' it would be 5 stars. It seems interesting (and terrifying) but I don't really understand how to play?
Ahhh this is intense! Loving the story. Excellent design on the puzzles too - they're interesting and unique without being tedious or boring. I like the bits of dialogue within the 'help' system that makes it feel like a collaboration, but also how the characters hint that clicking them again will result in a (potentially boring) explanation you might want to skip. (ex. "will you explain ciphers to me in a minute"). One silly thing I noticed though - when Beth says she plays "Yuker" with cards, I think you might mean "Euchre"!
I've really been enjoying this series, for the story and for the puzzles, but this installment fell a little flat for me, for a couple of reasons. 1) In the Tira mystery, I enjoyed the return to the questioning and logic format, however having to click on the clues again and select themselves from the dropdown was very counter-intuitive (and not how it worked previously), and therefore quite frustrating. You've definitely used better mechanisms before. 2) The click boss was awful - too easy with a mouse (I imagine) but a nightmare to beat on a laptop - and not a fun thing to re-do to get better at. More puzzles and mystery, please! I'm still enjoying the story enough to continue playing, and it was nice to see Dregg's coworkers fleshed out a little more.
I like this game but it lags a ton when a lot of zombies get on screen and start moving around, or I throw a grenade that does a lot of damage. Needs a way to reduce the quality.
Just started playing but I'm curious if units have the abilities of their lower level counterparts as well? For example, can a swordsmaster stun and block?
Love the game but it keeps undoing the connections I want to keep and keeping the ones I want to get rid of... would be nice to be able to double click on a connection to remove it.
This survival badge is really difficult! The strategy for the story mode seems to be to kill the things that will stick around (dragons, projectile shooters, wizards, etc.), but I think in on the later levels of survival mode we might have to do the opposite: Kill the small fry that die in a reasonable number of hits to keep your speed up, try not to fall (ever!), and hope you hit each 10,000 fast enough for your rocket to save you...
I don't think the tech point system is working properly... "+1 Tech Point" keeps popping up during battles, but I never have any tech points to use when the battle is over. Upgrading my class skills is taking ages!
Great idea, made for an amazing game, but I really with they'd chosen better music... I lost interest because I didn't want to listen to any of it. Old MacDonald and Yankee Doodle? I'd rather be trying to fit together that copy of Moonlight Sonata on the piano bench.
Just found what might be a hilarious bug... I reset my skill points before a battle and headed straight into it afterwards, not realizing that this also seems to remove all of your equipment! I'm not sure if fighting naked is working as a distraction tactic...
No, each unit has his own unique abilities.
