Just a reminder to everybody still trying to play this on kongregate, the game has not up to date. The steam version is FREE as well, has more content, and DOES save properly. kongregate version seems to have largely been abandoned after the screwup back in 2023, so if you want to actually play the game, try one of the other sites or steam.
on stun resistance, pretty sure it's a chance thing. the stun resistance research says 5% stun resistance at max level. so with gear you probably only have a 10% chance of not getting stunned, which seems a bit to low given the enemy that can stun you in the main levels gets to attack 3 times, including the stun attack before you can attack again.
2 very helpful features that would be nice to have would be a way to open multiple boxes at once, since having to close a window after every single box feels like a deterrent to dealing with them, especially when you have dozens of them already. The game also really needs a way to more quickly close the item windows from boxes or auto run levels, because right now it's raster to just refresh the page than it is to close them.
Kinda doubting the increase in damage is a glitch honestly. Likely just the method to keep players from camping in a corner with 3 weak enemies around them as the take potshots at the newly spawned enemies. Also, any chance you were using the spores to boost defense and they wore off? Figure it's worth asking at least.
to anybody still trying on here, I strongly recommend swapping over to the steam version. I've yet to lose progress outside of the 10 or so seconds from the game crashing while I slept. That, and it's been 7 months since kongregates version has been updated, and steams has received 3 updates. and if kongregates is ever fixed, you can just transfer your save to here then.
to anybody having issue with mission 8, the final battle isn't TO bad with the setup of +2 bleed on 1 attack, +1 heal, +2 def, +4def, and shield bash. Let bleed do most/all the work on round 1. take out the boss first on round 2, saving the heal for if you get poisoned 2 or more times. and round 3, do your best to keep damage under 10 per turn while applying bleed or delay when possible. With this, I beat mission 8 with nearly full health, so like I said, it isn'tTO bad
Does the captcha's bug out on anybody else and not let you submit the answer? Not gonna lie, it's actually really irritating knowing that it's possible to get banned because of glitchy captcha.
to anybody still trying, don't bother. level 99 is literally a 100% luck pachinko machine, and will fail every time, either by getting stuck on geometry, launched out of the map by the auto flippers, or timed out. the impossible badge on this one is pretty correct, because it isn't a skill game at that point, it's about as likely as getting a jackpot on slots in a real casino.
@Naud1234 Keep you runescape password close, because if you lose it at all, there's a small essays worth of questions you have to fill out to TRY and get your account back. Even the techs you can talk to have no clue what they are doing, because I was given a banned account, that "isn't banned".
Just a heads up, there's a weird glitch that rewinds progress a bit, almost like the game is reading a save from last week. So make sure to do frequent saves, and get rid of old ones so you don't have to deal with the problems from this troublesome glitch as often.
@jascaicps1 - to be fair, if the game actually gave the 100 tokens when you saved, people would probably be more inclined to save daily. Personally, I keep forgetting the save exists because I mentally block out the notification to save because it never goes away.
Game is largely ok. The main problems it has is how easy it is to click out of game bounds (which doesn't pause), how weak bombs actually are in later levels (takes nearly every bomb you carry to destroy an air strip on normal) and finally how fast turrets and the like respawn. I'm all for a challenge, but feels kinda pointless to focus on destroying things when they respawn in about the same amount of time it takes to destroy them.
Rather enjoyed this. There's a quick "tutorial" in each new segment that doesn't hold your hand. Definitely appreciate this with how many other games give you a 30 minute required tutorial, where others drop you in the deep end with no explanation as to what you are even doing.
This will probably sink to the bottom of a sea of comments, but for those that are having lag issues, try a different browser. This game ran like garbage on microsoft edge, but runs quite well on google chrome for me.
For those trying to use ads to speed up getting the badges and leaving, make sure to turn your ad block OFF for this page. This should work for most games with an ad system.
well, that was interesting. hadn't played this in months, and had the achievements up. my bloater kill count went from 0 to over 9000 (9380), with no other kills to speak of.
Found a bit o a glitch just now. had opened the loot tab (when I shouldn't have apparently), and the game wouldn't let me exit that tab. I managed to bypass it with esc and used the wings to return to town, and oddly enough it let me keep all the items I found, even though several weren't relics. to be specific, I opened that tab when I was at one of the furnaces to upgrade my gear (floor 65). sorry for the long post, and if this info was posted before
when I saw this had an impossible badge, I figured I'd never get it. Amusingly enough, the impossible badge was easier than the hard badges in some other games
I'd suggest instead of level brackets for Battle Ground, it instead be BR. It'd be a far more balanced system for players not having to deal with extremely overpowered players opting to camp at the opponents base the entire round.
