If the camera control was disconnected from the mouse, and the movement was not restricted to the four cardinal directions, this might be a good game. Right now, it only gets a good rating and badges because it combines two popular games into one.
Frankly, the camera is the worst part of the game and it leaves it unplayable in my opinion.
I would not mind being able to separate the sound effects and the music. It's a half-idle game after all. Getting the warnings that I have arrived and such would be nice without having to listen to the music all the time.
It's sad this game has gotten badges when it has game breaking bugs in it. The end boss has been defeated more than once by myself, but the game refuses to proceed after he dies. I am stuck on a screen I cannot get out of, as even the Menu and Restart options just put me right back at the screen with the defeated boss. I have to reload and play again, only to get stuck once more.
It's a fun game, and I did give it a 3/5 However, there are some glaring scaling issues. I completely skipped over everything but the last element because of my wooden sword and my leather jerkin. Capping the weapons and armor would have forced me to upgrade. Not per se a process I would have loved, but beating level 150 enemies with a stick is also not giving a feeling of progress.
Just impressive, definitely a top contended for Game of the Month in my opinion. On top of that, the dev is responsive to the community and with updates as well as lists actual patch notes. This game, this shows you what games can be. 5/5
Not bad, but a scaling option would be appreciated. I am, after a day only, no longer in need of buying several upgrades anymore. I can see the point coming in which most upgrades will be pointless. After all, once you can reach the devil why do you need more distance, or distance reduction? If/when I can practically one shot it, why should I increase my damage anymore?
You know, I gave this game a 4/5 because it is just fun. Then I read some4 comments, saw the accolades to the players in the patch notes and the many responses from the dev to the community and gave it a 5/5 :D
Very fun, definitely a 5/5. It has ran in the background at work for a few weeks now :D
Although I'd like to report a bug: as a level 85 raiding warlock, a flask does nothing for me. At the moment I have 3875 intellect, and after consuming the flask I still have that much intellect. No increase in health or damage either.
Please do not add badges to this game. Ever.
It's such a fun and addicting game that it could possibly be responsible for the wiping out of mankind if it received badges, as droves of humans would not be able to remove themselves from their computer anymore.
Game is a very good 'smash and watch fly' type game.
Several stats to upgrade, multiple characters to play and a lot of interactivity. Combine that with 'manly' graphics and we have a lot of fun.
I mean, a tree that grows steaks and bacon?
This game, in spite of being one of many in it's genre, should get badges.
I must admit, seeing 50 enemies spawn instantly when the enemy castle is at 25% is very disappointing. Basically, once you reach a certain level, fallback to your castle and take them there. Once that wave is defeated, go back and hit him with all your units at once.
This is a simple way of stretching the gameplay beyond it's 'best before' date, and makes the game less appealing.
Oh no, you completed this game on a different website and now don't want to do it here! Kongregate should make it so it can take cookies and .sol files from all sites, and just salvage your harddrive for them!
Or maybe, if you don't want to play a game twice, don't play any other games then the ones on Kongregate. Either that, or don't complain.
