not to bag on the game at all, it was entertaining, but it seems a lot like "The King's League," except... less. I'm sure there will be more in future updates, but still
In case noone has found out how to get title 25, Neutral Mage, play thru til year 218 month 5, and go to iceland and darkwood for the quests involving Chainfreeze and three Black Robes, and Waveslash and three black robes. (these may only be available if you are neither black or white robe). In both quests choose not to fight anyone at all and Waveslash will proclaim you "a true Neutral Mage" and you get the title. Also, you can aid white robes both times for the Title Evils Nightmare, or aide the black Robes for the title "Mercenary". Whichever way you go, i believe you need to do each quest the same way to get the title
Just to see the ending, I spent the entire game only using the mana cave and doing the required neutral events. I chose not to participate in the election and Shiverhorror won. He later came back to kill me as Wetanger thought i could win. With just enough skill points from the mana cave, I destroyed him as a poison water mage and became a Legend....
...I was hoping for Nobody
Following "halfdelita's" instructions, i got the hard badge, along with the tier 2 title of "Noble Knight" 100 in combat attack, defense, and repute, morals, refinement, and fame. also mastered construction, nightwatch, science and combat school/work. I guess to get the tier 1 result you may need to fully complete all dungeons? As i did not actually get all the check marks, just the blue chests
@ Thinks in Circles re "Treasure hunt" Yeah that one seemed a bit harder than other levels. I used a physical protectorate hero with the defender unit, along with trainee kirana, energy council hero with trainee and archwizard units(from the 3 heroes you start with, I think)), and another energy hero from the council with wizard and spellsword units. I really just threw a defender unit in the middle of the map, leveled up towards middle path, then threw in slowing wizards and poison archwizards to beat the energy weak monsters. The hardest part will be the last few monsters that are weak to energy, but you need enough physical power to beat the bosses absorb energy. And remember, some items change your heroes type (energy, physical etc) good luck
@Procyonpi: re: "@Dedo_Oro: The security demon does not have a bestiary entry."
I think this was implied when I said, "I finally see the demon fall. I receive a level up for Mardek and 3 lvls for the others, along with a golden warport ticket. BUT NO BESTIARY INFO!!!"
I absolutely love the game, replayed MARDEK 1 and 2. I'm in the middle of 3, and chose to battle a security demon at the warp port to see how hard it would be to beat and to see the bestiary entry. My party was Mardek(lvl 23), Sharla, Gloria, and Solaar(all lvl 17). After about 20 or so minutes of a single battle, using nonstop morality blocks, null airs, heal spells, and a single poisonous spear attack, I finally see the demon fall. I receive a level up for Mardek and 3 lvls for the others, along with a golden warport ticket. BUT NO BESTIARY INFO!!! I was so excited til I saw that, but I cant even fight a 2nd security demon with that save! I had to use a previous save when I realized I couldn't fight it with a golden warport ticket.
This may sound like a complaint, but don't take it as one, your games are awesome, and this could also be taken just as me giving advice on how to beat the demon (tons of exp, worth it)
