Amusing game, but the people complaining about load times are right. Even with a completely stable internet connection with 5Mbps download speed and 38 ping to google (yes I checked), the game takes an extremely long time to load every now and then. I gotta give it a 3/5 for now. -1 for the poor English used in the game and -1 for the connection issues.

I was able to play the game just fine yesterday, but today the game is acting odd. It feels like the entire game is playing at like 25% speed. Everything moves slower. The player, monsters, attack animations, even items popping out of chests. I checked the settings to see if maybe combat speed had turned itself down but it had not. Absolutely nothing has changed since yesterday, but the game is in slow motion today...
Well I was originally writing a nice long, detailed review, but the 1000 character limit screwed me. I like the game, but due to a large number of bugs, the total lack of balance, the extremely high reliance on luck, and the fact that item rarity essentially means nothing (many legendary items are regarded as worthless by most players, while many commons and uncommons are not). For these reasons I cannot give the game more than a 2/5.
This game was alright, but got really repetitive really fast. I stopped at stage 10 after an enemy glitched and became invincible after his HP disappeared. It didn't just go down to 0 and he stayed alive, his HP bar completely vanished off screen. 3/5 due to repetitiveness and that bug.
You would think that every single game anyone makes nowadays would have the ability to mute or lower the volume of the SFX and music separately rather just having one big mute button. I'm getting so tired of games not having this option.
After 3 days of trying I finally managed to finish a stage before the server disconnected and reset my progress, and after I did, I was awarded 15 monkey money instead of the 100 I should have gotten. I have seen nothing but bugs with this game since I started playing it. A game that's been out this long should not have anywhere near this many major problems. I hate to do this, but 1/5.
It would be great if the game would actually let me stay logged in for more than 15 minutes at a time. Had to start over from scratch 3 times now. Tried refreshing and tried different browsers. I give up, this is obviously a game bug or server error, not something on my end.
Yeah....might as well rename this "Grindquest: Now with cars!!"
Game is fun for the first few runs, then you realize you are just grinding for that next car, then you get the next car, have fun for a few more runs, realize you are grinding again, then stop playing. 3/5
I think it would be nice if players got an extra reward for setting a 1st place distance record. I just beat the original 1st place guys distance by 8300ish and was really disappointed when I got absolutely nothing for my effort other than the normal EXP rewards.
Beat this game over a year ago, just came back and beat it again. It is still one of, if not THE best game on Kongregate. The gameplay is obviously a little lacking compared to some other games, but the story more than makes up for it. I don't ever buy a game because it has good gameplay, got good reviews, or because someone told me to. I buy a game if it has a good story. This free flash game on Kongregate has a better story than 95% of the 60$ games you see in stores today. That says something. I absolutely love this game. You should become a story writer for some major game company and try to fix the garbage thats been on the market lately. Also, your sequal request post has over 10,000 likes, I think thats enough to show we all REALLY want a sequel XD
This game is truly one of the most amazing works of art I have ever seen. I enjoyed the gameplay, but not nearly as much as the story. I think I got all the endings, but im not sure (I got 6). This game is the first thing that has brought tears to my eyes in years. I rarely get emotional about video game characters to this extent, but I absolutly love Ginny with all my heart. I was a bit dissapointed by her ending though due to the fact that Duece had to give up EVERYTHING just to stay with her. I would love to see a sequel for this game and I believe that you have some real talent for story writing. If you polished it up a bit, you could easily become a writer for an anime, TV show, or major video game company. I beat this game about 10 hours ago and am still unable to stop myself from being overwhelmed by emotion from it. Amazing work man. I will be donating what few kreds I have to you.
This game can only be described as "win". I bought 86 lasers, upgraded them all to lvl 5, and then had 5 of each of the movement thingies at lvl 5. If I clikc the screen once, every enemy dies instantly. The boss took 4 seconds to kill, and the game ran at like half speed even on low quality. Any game that lets you have so many lasers deserves a 5/5. My ship was a laser cube death god that shoots rainbows. I approve.
Amazing game. The epic battle fantasy series is my absolute favorite flash game series on the internet. I have done just about everything there is to do in the first 3, and now I have gotten about 3/4 of the in game medals for this one, as well as 3/4 of the kongregate medals too. I look forward to your future releases and will continue to rate them all. You guys are awesome, keep up the good work.
I lold at the numerous bleach references. The sound that network makes when he fires his black lightning is the same sound they use for Cero in bleach. That and Leo reminded me of Hitsugaya.
It was a fun game, I didnt really understand all of the concepts of the stats, since I have never played D&D or anything like that, BUT...After playing for about an hour and a half, I went to bed, and this morning, my save file had been deleted.
