Original script for Trans4mers: Rise of the Unicron
Are you a normal Kongregate user, but wish you had a few better features? Want to enhance the Kongregate experience? Try Kongregate One! It’s a script that contains multiple functions that improve user capability of Kongregate’s chat features (scripts are installed in Chrome this way, are enabled in Firefox by the script add-on Greasemonkey). Here’s what it has to offer:
- Chat Resizer: Changes the size of the chat area, allowing for more visibility for better reading of the chat.
- In-chat Timestamp: Display a timestamp to the left of user posts.
- PM notifier: While the Kongregate tab is unfocused, makes a small bleep and flashes the tab icon when you receive a PM, or when the Chat Highlighter is activated.
- Chat Line Highlighting: Highlights posts containing your username, and any other words you specify.
- Reply Command: Quickly respond to PMs by typing “/r”; upon pressing space, automatically replaces with “/w [last user who sent you a whisper]”.
- Username Completion: Pressing Tab in the text area cycles through the usernames of everyone in the room, starting with yours. Any character(s) followed immediately by Tab will either cycle through every user with those characters in their name if in the room, or display nothing if nobody matches. i.e. “ts[Tab]” → “Tsuppo:”
- Character Limit: Text in the text area is automatically limited to 250 characters, no guessing on length required.
- KongreLink: Turns posted URL’s into clickable links that open in new tabs.
Scripts in Kongregate One can be toggled on or off at the bottom right of your user profile page.
These separate scripts deserve honorable mention:
- Antispam: Auto-mutes anyone posting x number of times within y number of seconds, customizable by the user.
- Full Profile Linker: Opens profile page in new tab when right-clicking on usernames in chat.
- Modcall: Adds an option to randomly call for a mod in the chat actions drop-down menu.
- AFK Comand: Adds /afk command to toggle afk status, with customizable afk time and message.
- Mouseover Timestamp: Display a timestamp and PM link when hovering over a sender of a message (less intrusive than In-Chat Timestamp, but does not appear in copied chat text).
- Reload Command: Adds /reload command to reload chat, game, or page.
- Kongregate Chat-scripts Framework: Possibly required for some scripts.
