Every game collect data on you anonymously. It is actually safer to play Unity games because they are upfront about what data they are collecting. These data are only about your what country you are playing from and what IAP you buy. The information may be used negatively for targetted ads or for the developers to raise IAP prices for certain players. However, most of the time, the analytics is only collecting what you do INSIDE the game itself just to improve your experiences with the game.
So many different cards with different interactions! But this is when sorting by the resources they interact with will help (so sorting will put cards that deal with iron on top and wood at the bottom)
Very true, I'll see what I can do there. The biggest hurdle is finding a spot in the UI to place sorting and filtering controls, hmm. I might need to make the window a little bigger, but I'm not sure what constitutes too-big a window size for most Kongregate users.
Offline progress doesn't really work for this type of game because the progression is meant to be fast-paced. This is also the problem with this game. It is good and fun but run out of content really fast.
That raises a really good point. I've been trying to figure out what the best approach would be to resolve that. Right now, what I'm leaning toward is to 1. enable offline production, and then 2. make the first ascension or two go pretty fast, and then have later ones go a little slower. That way, the game would have a very active playstyle for the first few hours, and then progressively become a more traditional "check in every few hours" sort of idler game. Hopefully that gives players the best of both worlds.
