Small complain here, i dont like having to scramble making decisions with the time fast forward when coming back a pause button for the fast forward would be really nice. Or let me choose when to let it rip :)
Aside from content, i think the user interface could use an overhaul. I'd like to be able to see the characters evolve or change , and a way to sort cards.
I've been tossing around ideas for such a thing, possibly for auto pickup at least. I still strongly like the idea of bosses having to be a manual spawn though.
I found the tutorial quite annoying, u should allow the player to go through it at its own pace. I also have a pet peeve when tutorials force u to use items for no reason, like speeding up a short build.
if you're going to make it harder for those at the end game, you should consider rescaling some of the other end game stuff like achievements. Current i have 50 million shards but it takes so long to get 150 gold mines, and with your recent nerfs to high amounts of shards i cant imagine how many shards you need to reset before you can get 300 gold mines. You have alot of content that is currently out of reach at the moment but you want to make it harder to reach them?
The goal is to make the late game stuff easier to reach, but everything needs an across the board rebalance. Building cost scaling is being decreased, upgrades are being increased, etc.. to all compensate for the different hero levels. My goal is not to artificially drag out the game, but make each reset more rewarding and meaningful.
I think it'd be nice if the diary's were kept somewhere so you could access them later and you only could activate them once. Gets annoying in those crowded secret areas
Here is my strat for majority of the game max hero dmg, max mage, max infantry, max spells. one infantry in last spot before each end. One mage in front of each spwn followed by an infantry tower. fill in blanks with mages. Rock golums are not an issue once u can max your hero atck. Its all the other giant things. I upgrade all range towers first then melee. Upgrade procedure varies with the waves. Towards the last levels i upgraded everything evenly. Also for later levels, once you can afford all updrades for archers place a few archers to fill in spots as you will not have enough gold in the level to upgrade everything to the max. I hope this helps
best strategy to get diamond stars, start with 3-4 puddles and then 2 totem to gain mana then spam frozen archers. The investment in puddles will allow u spam zombies almost non stop. and shred all armor
