Sometimes the highscore API doesn't seem to record my score. I don't know if that's your end or Kong's end.
You might consider having the "tap to play" again button appear a little later to avoid accidentally tapping it and starting the game again.
Maybe you could add some sort of indication as to when the steel beak will wear off.
It's a shame that this interesting take on classic snake games is troubled by loose controls. The moving just doesn't feel as tight as other grid-based movement games.
This is mostly a straight-out-of-the-box Stencyl game. I hope you are going to learn the software and make your own changes and put your own twist on this genre. Also, a larger ball might help this game in addition to what has already been suggested by other users.
The reloading has an overlap where I can continually tap 'R' to reset the reload timer. It doesn't feel right that way. 'R' should be disabled while reloading.
Of course you can't miss. This game's about Jeremy Lin. Besides, the games is about getting a high score through multipliers on the court floor and not about missing. Topical games, but pretty lame.
As I was trying to be true to the complicated control scheme from Virtual Goose (the fictional game that this is based on), your comments have convinced me to try a new control scheme. I hope this makes the game...well, playable.
This game is needlessly hard. It's very unforgiving. It's a grinding game with severe penalties and little reward for the risk. With no indication (numbers) as to damage or health of enemies, one can't base an enemy's stats on its size.
Everything else is awesome.
Yeah. Thanks for the tips. I'm working on new games.
