honestly thought this was going to go a really dark turn

The game has a really nice learning curve that, once you get past it, the game goes from frustratingly puzzling to 2048-reminiscent satisfying. I suppose random levels would be a great extension for future versions? Also I'd recommend a skillpoint system like those you get in RPGs, where the player is allowed to pick which pieces get which abilities at the start of (or maybe throughout) the game - could open up a lot of new strategies and variety in gameplay. Regardless, easy 5/5, very nicely made game and would buy a full version.

Just learnt you can purchase and merge same tier items directly when your inventory is full... went way too long into the game before realizing this

Ok first of all: I absolutely dig this game. Huge respect for the community interaction from the dev too. Played it the whole night and went from a little over an hour to sub-20 (19:27). Learning the game can be off putting at first but once you learn the basics it's an amazing game. I haven't figured out the 0-death game yet but I've typed up a 1-death strategy if anyone's interested. The game is actually not that hard when you get used to the only few patterns it has. The game gets super addictive by then.

The Aug 30 map is probably by far the easiest map to finish under 1:30.
