Hardbadge gets a lot easier once you find the right strategy for the game. The game mixes up, dodge by sight, dodge by pattern and most importantly finding the sweet spot. The 2nd and 3rd boss can be killed without moving, same for 1st and 3rd mode of the last Boss. This makes the Boss fights much easier. Though you might need some attempts to find those sweet spots (or go watch one of the walkthroughs).
Another tip, if you don´t have a sweet spot against a cartain boss mode (or mini boss) and die often, then don´t bother absorbing more than one Orb. Just aborb one and use that to kill the enemy or get to next mode(sweet spot). Trying to absorb more is not worth it, you can do a lot of damage in the time it takes to absorb the next orb. Otherwie your likely to waste lives without doing damage.
The Worm journey is blocking me from getting the badge. At first I had trouble with the lifting stone, then the barrier in the cave could not be removed. It took three days and dozends of reloads until it was fixed and now I can´t close the mouth.
Wow, I get to play a "Evil" Necromancer who lets her minions do all the work and never the less receive all the rewards as if I was fighting myself? 5/5
I am probaly playing this wrong, even if i know the solution, i find myself clicking through the dialog options, because those are often the most entertaining part of the game.
You´ve got a serious cut you make your way to a pharmacy. The Bleedings almost stopped, what do you grab? Everything!! Oh you mean to dress the wound? Why didn´t you sayso, ruined my medicine score and did not even get a scavenger bonus.
Thr Dark story line is a bit demotivating. Hardly any of the Dark offers are tempting/rewarding enough. And there is serious lack of Respect both from the police of the Darkside as well as the Boss, which makes me question why I should bother working together with or even for them.
Very fun game. For a possible sequel i suggest adding a use to the armor and sword stores after you have finished upgrading to max level, kinda sucks running past stores with practically endless money and not being able to buy anything. Especially since buying new armor is an important way to replenish HP.
Also allowing the usage of HP Elixirs outside of battle would be nice or at least auto use when buying new potions.
When a game starts asking you to pay for not playing it(skipping battles and animations) you can tell how bad it really is. The game should be paying its players to watch its boring Battles and not the players paying to not have to watch them.
Nice that there was a bit of theme this time, but it would have been better if all of the stuff had a deeper connection with the theme. There was a lot of random stuff that did not connect with the theme at all.
To easy, just get the fire under control before Collecting coin. The only slightly Changeling levels were those where the fire starts or spreads into interior boxes that can not be reached with the hose.
great game. a half naked beauty riding a horse. what more do you need :)
For those having problems, check the award section, it kinda tells you how to react to the different dangers.
nice game, but way to unbalanced. Maxing greed with one lvl of attack will get you through the early levels easily. With high greed you actually gain Money when clearing obstacles and Monsters with "Spells".
Soon the only thing that kills you are Bugs when the "Spells" do not work or when you fall alsleep because it is to easy.
For those that are having problems do not listen to Yoda. SIZE does matter. Having a bigger Playing screen makes it a lot easier. Use Ctr+(might need to click outside the playing Screen) to increase the size. Also keeping the left arrow pushed or using it with great skill makes impossible tasks possible. Pushing left actually makes you go left slower.
This game is just frustrating. The collision detection is terrible. It does not fit with the Images. The size of the Window makes a huge difference. Just make it as big as the screen and the game becomes half that hard.
The constant pull to the left combined with the "elephant Walk" and the randomness of the obstacles makes a game of Luck.
"Worst Elephant game ever award"
For all that want the Badge:
use str+ to increase window size and keep the left arrow pressed while playing.
5/5 just for music and style. great theme and great job using the theme.
The rest was not that great but not bas either. It bit to short though.
Since your are planing sequels a couple of Hints:
1. make it longer. lol
2. add side quests/alternate endings, people dig stuff like that.
3. add awards/medals/achievements, there always addicts out there who will play a game 1000 times and more than 100 hours just to get the very last achievement and impossible badge.
4. add a timer/score, give the score names(like the Rabbit that was beaten by the Turtle) and not just numbers. People connect better to the game if its not just numbers.
Did the maker of the game even try his own game? Its just bad, very very bad.
There is no strategy involved what so ever. The Gameplay needs a total over haul.
First get rid of the Clock, make it turn based. The Clock is just unfit for this type of game, at the beginning to slow later when you have lots of citys it is just to fast.
Second, get rid of the Map based fights. If you can not program a have way decent KI, its just not worth it.(As it is now there is NO KI at all, wich makes the fights just boring.) Make something Flashy instead that just compares Unit strength or Use some abstract Minigame where the Units are Life points and give Specials.
Rework the Town-system, a lot of the buildings are very unbalanced. Upgrading the Castle for more income was a total waste of time, the market as a income source was way better.
Give the Ki-Cites a linear system of Develoment that corresponds to the time the game has played(tuns taken).
