Love this game! A bit frustrating that many times the levels are impossible to beat on ultimate based on the randomness of the guards, but it makes it that much more exciting when you get that run where everything goes right
The game is not anything amazing...but I enjoyed it! I did have the occasional issue with a ninja not dying when they should be dead and I thought it was a flaw that I never needed to use any of the abilities. Still, a fun typing game.
I've been saving this game for 6.5 years to be one of the last badges to get me to level 75. Not disappointed at all. So much fun with the exact right level of challenge. I am very glad to hear EBF5 has been a success and I am looking forward to playing that someday soon.
It's been 11 years since I've gotten the impossible badge on the original Meat Boy. Could I probably get this one? Yes. But I'm old now. So I'd like to keep my sanity.
I had a blast playing this game. I was getting worried with 51 levels when I started to have a bit of trouble around level 10 that it was going to get way too difficult but I thought the difficulty remained fair throughout. I also enjoyed the vulture and sheep shooting levels as a break up from doing the same task every time
I don't think this game is that bad? Sure, the controls are not amazing but I was usually able to pull off the special moves when I wanted to. The winning strategy usually seems to be spam projectile moves. I am actually more disappointed that there are no character specific endings when you beat the game.
I want to be positive, so I will say that at least this hard badge was not as annoying as the one for the first Pyro! This game is fun in concept but too frustrating to be great. Basically all you would have to do is give a number for power level and angle of shot so that shots are repeatable. I have aced levels and then played multiple times after knowing exactly what I did and not being able to recreate my success. That's just not good.
It has been 6 years since I got the impossible badge on this game and I still shudder with bad memories. The game wasn't acknowledging my earned trophies I have never sent in a screenshot and message faster....why am I tempted to do it again?!
So disappointing how close to great this game could be. Fun concept and I like the different powers. Yeah, stuff like the wall controls aren't great but I adapted. The unforgivable part is the game running poorly. Going for the hard badge is unpleasant.
This is such a cool idea so wonderfully executed.......except the basic premise of the game rhythm timing!!!!! I am a badge hunter but I refuse to play this any more.
I really don't want to be too harsh, but I hated this game. Upgrades were mostly very unsatisfying and too hard to get for not enough of a boost. It did not matter how good I was at avoiding the obstacles no matter what there was a limit to how far I could go. Towards the end of achieving the candy drill I just started to let the drill go on a journey on its own as I watched TV. No end game, nothing I am doing matters.
