Ok, I am glad to see a streetfighter game turned into a flash version, but the concept for controls is terrible. Most of the non-spamming moves require a controller [like others before me mentioned] so choosing a character that can't spam moves [Zangief for one] just made this game fall flat. Add to it that the A.I. will spam moves worse than the console variation and you got a game that just lacked what the orginal version. 1/5.
Great game and the only hard part was trying to belly splash when you go at high speeds. For those who get all upgrades and can't get 6000 feet, the best way to do it is to try and level out to have 0 resistance. Tap the space bar [to conserve fuel] and only hold it when you drop too low in alt. Try to weave up and down when you start to get low on fuel [like a rollercoaster] then use the last bit on the final rise and try to level out some more.
The game is fun, but the glitches ruins it. It seems that if you update the turrent, you can't use it anymore. If that is the case, there is no use for the turrent at all in later levels. 2/5 for the game due to the glitches.
I loved playing this game on Adult Swim and I am glad to see it here. A few tips for some people: if you can land at least one hit with your special combo, you can add another hit after the last one by pressing the attack button and a directional button.
Second, when your opponent is down, tap the a button rapidly to gain some stars to fill your meter.
Third, if you have to leave the game and you want to pickup on the chapter where you left off, enter the game, then press the space bar and exit it. When you enter 1st player again, you can choose story and whatever chapter you are on. You start with 0 points, but you can pick up where you were last.
The game is fun and fast, but there is a small thing that makes it a royal pain. When you click on an enemy [ or in the enemies path] there is sometimes no hit dectection. That leads to weaker enemies getting by the staff and hitting you. But other than that, this is a great game. 3/5
A couple things made this game go from a 4/5 to a 1/5 in my book.
1st, the little tutorial thing doesn't work, so you don't know how to play till you play a bunch of times [and lose].
2nd, if you have monsters that can attack when they are not close range, LABEL THEM. It sucks when you are drilling only to have a dragon burn you to death.
3rd, after a while, it goes from skill to luck because you have to either hope you get a block setup that gets you where you need to be or no blocks so you can move some around to what you want.
This game is good, and it does remind me of the orginal. The positives about this version is how it is a bit easier than the orginal and the fact you have an automatic fire for the weapon. The only minor thing that I didn't like was how you can't kill alucard. Other than that, great game.
This game just fails at even being remotly entertaining. Either the songs don't load, the video loads, but there are no notes, or the video and notes load, but there is no sound. Those problems alone dropped the score down to 1/5. This game must be broken for it to not function correctly.
As for all the hub bub over it being offensive, just relax folks. Jeeze, you make it seem that christians don't get offended everyday, and that is from OTHER christians. So just like what everyone else is saying, if you don't like it, don't play it.
Great game and I am glad that I have a new reason to play it. For those having a hard time with the specials, you have to press out all the buttons with a bit of a pause in between each press.
The game is ok, but what really made me lower the score was one little problem that became a bigger one. The game tended to group suns together [even overlap them] in a way that if you are grabbed by one, you can't get out. I got dragged into the suns too many times. Even when I tried to give them a wide birth [ like as in the edge of the screen], I got trapped and destroyed too easy even when I was fighting the gravity. 1/5
For those having a hard time. You have to shoot cerebus in the back. The final boss takes damage from only head shots, and when you get the soul of your loved one, you can't look back at all till you reach the end. As for the ending, that was a good end. 4/5
The concept is ok, but it is very annoying when you are about to hit the ball, yet the bird comes out of nowhere. Also, why does the bird only attack the player if it is single player? The game gets a 1/5 from me.
Just keeping it alive.
these are the kill numbers/new ships/ranks as follows.its 26 / 51 / 101 / 201 / 401 / 801 / 1601 / 3201 / 6401 (No new ship, just rank and map upgrade) / 12801 / 25601 (No new ship, just last rank) ok... this is the ship/kill/rank guide until it gets updated... dont let this die ppl
The game is great, but I have one question. How do you unlock the final two towers? I beat the game twice, I even upgraded everything. BUt I still have those locks in my cannon menu. How do we get the plasma and Emp tower?
Ok, at first I thought this game was good. That was till I started to notice certain things. Some people say this game has a physic take on it, but I don't think so. This game needs a fix due to the fact that if you make a sturdy tower, it starts to lean even before your reach 100 in height. That isn't physics, that is failure. 1/5
The game is good and I wish there was a way to equip more than one trinket. Also, it would be good to know how many rune stones are on a level. Not to mention I hate how the some of the skills are only allowed at Armorgames. For those having a hard time fighting most enemies, rapid tap your mouse when fighting close range enemies. You will launch tons of arrow shots that will kill close range fast. Other than that, the game is good.
