Is there a way to import/export from here to Steam or vice versa? I started this game in beta on Kong, but checked out the game on Steam the other day since someone mentioned it here in the comments. Obviously there is no difference between the two, except for the 104 achievements. For myself (and other like me, I am sure), it would be nice to get those achievements on Steam since there are no badges for this game as yet.. hopefully, maybe there will be one in the future.
I have obviously progressed much further and spent more time (even making spreadsheets of my islands and guildians) on this game here on Kong than I have on Steam. It's disappointing to have to start all over again on Steam, especially when I have all my guildians, cards and islands set up how I want them for now. Being able to import/export would help tremendously. I know other idle games have a way to do this, so I hope maybe there is a way for this to be done here. It would be greatly appreciated if we could. =)
Why does the little tutorial say that the Adventure quests give more gold than the Battle ones? It looks like all the battle ones give more xp and more gold than Adventure. So is there really any point in doing the Adventure quests?
That really needs to be updated, apologies (it's pretty old text by this point). Adventure quests are the SAFE bet. You won't get defeated in them, but that also means the rewards are lower. They're a good thing to use to give your guildians a breather (and especially if you have a cleric, it gives a pausing point to heal up before moving onto more battle quests.)
The Store Epic has a third card drop in it that's a guaranteed epic card, and the Epic chest only has 2 cards drop with a very good chance at an epic card.
There should be a way to destroy or sell the cards you don't want.. selling would be better though.
A way to open all chests of a certain type at one, not just 10 at a time would be nice.
Also double clicking on an island on the map to take you there instead of hitting the travel button on the left would be great too.
Hovering over things like the guild hall, quests, the buttons below on the left and right should have a little description or more information on it without having to click on it. For example, the guild hall could have a quick window pop up when you hover showing all the guildians in that particular town. Hovering over the quests could show the name and stats.
And what does adventuring even do as a stat? There doesn't seem to be any information on what the stats actually do to help.
This game is chock full of awesomeness! It's like baby Link on a sugar high, listening to Tenacious D inspired music, while running frantically around a few levels of pint sized dungeons. I'm loving it!
Would be great if the bosses auto spawned after the required amount and then resets mobs to rinse and repeat. An auto loot for those chests that drop would be nice. Also need a bigger amount of inventory space. I can only hold 9 items and then it says inventory full. I don't want to sell anything as it says the sell amount is $0. As of now, when I close the game or have to reload, it brings me back to the first drake instead of the mob (hellhound or whatever) that I was originally on. So far, this is an interesting and fun game. But it doesn't really seem like a true idle game. In order for it to have that "idle" feel, a lot of the suggestions would have to be implemented. I am sure it can be done since the devs seem to be listening to the players, which is a good thing. =)
I want the bosses to be a manual trigger, as some of the later bosses will be rather fearsome foes with very significant loot. The next patch will have inventory space upgrades to increase the size, as well as get those pesky $0 sell prices fixed. The resetting to low level drakes will also be fixed and it will stick with what you last had spawning.
I think what NI3LS3N is asking, is if we can see a replay of "our" fights where we attacked people. We can already watch a replay when someone attacks us. But we can't see a replay after we attack someone.
So after playing for a bit longer, I have to agree with some of the other comments. 1) The second barbarian challenge is bugged. I can't do anything but restart or forfeit after I have beaten them. 2) Gold storage won't upgrade to lvl 4 even when I click the upgrade button. 3) It seems you have to sit here just to farm food/gold. The fights are fairly short. But I don't want to sit here just to keep up with my gold and food storage.
Interesting so far. There are a few things that could be changed. Inactivity time is too short. I tab out or grab a drink or whatever and in less than 3 minutes I am disconnected. At least give us 15-20 minutes.
Garrison says I have a total of 8 capacity. But if I want to have 2 wraiths, then that's all I get. I can't have more. Troops should just count as 1 space, not 2 or 3 spaces. I want to be able to use up all the space the garrison is telling me I should have.
The "hooray" system needs to go away. I don't see any point to this popularity contest. I dare say most kong players are not facebook players and aren't usually fond of the whole "let's see how many 'friends' I can add to my game." There's a reason why most kong players are here and not on fb.. we don't like the spam and messages telling us we need to add friends.
This game definitely has some replay value. If you keep up with the lore in game, it will grab peoples interest. Overall this is a pretty good start.
Thanks for your feedback. We will change the inactivity timer and push an update with some bug fix today. I'm glad you enjoy the game so far, we are gathering all players suggestions before making any big changes.
I just love all your Caos games so far. I still want to see more of Mr Gilbert and friends, but this was definitely a great side distraction while we wait for more from that wonderful world. 5/5 again for this new game.
I am sure I wasn't the only one who clicked that axe in the rock like over 100 times hoping, just hoping it would budge and I would get a nice shiny axe. Also, I couldn't find the key in the swamp yet. I am not giving up!
This is the right mindset! :D
Keep going, in the end the axe will be yours!
Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT, WE LOVE YOU! <3
We hope you'll find the key ;)
Energy/stamina, call it what you will. It leads to the same conclusion. Most of these type of games are the worst. People don't want to play for 10 minutes then wait for another few hours before they can play again.
One of the worst things is that you lose your extra stamina when you level up. You get 20/20 and that's it. Sorry, you had extra stamina to finish the remaining dungeon? Nope, you can only have 20 total. Too bad. At least let us keep our extra stamina that we have been painstakingly waiting to accumulate.
On a plus note, the art work is amazing. I wouldn't mind playing a game with how it looks, but you need to work the the actual mechanics for people to remain here playing your game.
This was an excellent series. 5/5 for all episodes from the very beginning. I want more stories of this world!
I want to see Mr Gilbert get his powers back permanently to where he can switch it on and off if needed. I want to meet Faust. I want to see more of Samma and the Doc. I want to make sure Roscoe is keeping his word and being good to Mylenda. I want to know why Lora smells like dead flowers.. she should smell better than that.. maybe like root beer so her and Mr Gilbert can get together.
There are so many other things I want to see from this world, but most importantly right now, I want to make sure that dog is safe! He could be Mr Gilbert's trusty companion since he is now alone with Rick in the junkyard.. poor dog!
Maybe we'll release some other adventures for Mr. Gilbert.
About the dog, we can assure you he's safe right now. Mr. Gilbert rescued him going back to his office. Don't worry anymore :D
For those that are saying they need an explanation of this game, there is a strategy guide link in the description as well as the main menu of the game. Don't rate a game down because you can't read. This is a great game! Got a 5/5 from me last year. Fairypoet always has fun games. =)
Gah! Your stories are so good but the episodes are so short. It always leaves me wanting to know more of the story and people in it. Would love to see all the episodes in one game instead of spreading them out over time. I think it would definitely be well worth the wait for the whole story to be completed. Still, this is a 5/5. Nice job on making us want more each time. =P
Fantastic game! Cute little yellow guy named Red who juggles, plays a guitar, and also waves to you when you poke him, quest to find a muffin, bright colorful puzzles, and great music = 6/5 in my book. (Too bad there isn't a 6)
*Spoiler* Diamond # 20 is found after finding the muffin. Click continue to take you back to the muffin room. The diamond is in the left orange tree.
What a lovely game even though the game seemed a little short. A seed transforming into different plants is a bit weird, but this was oddly satisfying once his journey was completed. Great artwork. I want more of this game! =)
