Although your Horseman/Cavalier shows as losing health/leadership when he levels later on (+-3 Health, etc.), if you take note of his stats, he is still gaining points, if you check his stats before and after he levels up. Do not hesitate to grind if needed.

3/5 as default: +1: artwork is nice, icons can be lazy with hue shifts +1: devs seem highly active, lots of events -1: pay 2 win game. Money for cosmetics is better, use your art department -1: War season is stupid. Attacked by people thousands of levels above you, constantly hitlisted and unable to retaliate. More exp lost than gained -1: Ambushes useless. Rigging is pointless. Ambushes cost stam and money both (why?) -1: Boss and PvP health should be separate (see DotD, LoTS). Annoying to keep making myself vulnerable because a boss I want to hit shows up. -1: Player abuse uncontrolled. Hitlisted by guys hundreds of levels below me and killed by their higher level alts. Gifted the same item days in a row by multiple people within seconds of one another. Botting on hitlist seems obvious. Overall: 1/5. There are better games with more content and better systems out there. Power creep in this is also laughable. Why bother?

Quite the detailed feedback, so thanks for that! Let me try to address a few of your concerns: War Season is entirely optional, if you don't want to be hit by other players looking to meet their Daily GPs, join a non-War Syndicate. Also, try setting up your Gift wishlist so you aren't sent Secret Gifts over and over. Our game isn't pay to win either, once you hit higher levels the amount of Mobsters you have make a bigger difference in fights. We do what we can to stamp out bot and alt use, if you see players that you believe are breaking the rules please use the in-game reporting tools. Not exactly a very cerebral game, and absolutely riddled with bugs (my favorite was Enforced Silence becoming a permanent aura!). Has potential to become a diamond in the rough, but that doesn't make it any less of an unimpressive lump of graphite or coal. Try again in a couple million years.

The best part of this game is the concept; the worst part of it is basically everything else. Awkward controls, glitchy gameplay, poor optimization and a tired mechanic or three pretty much ruin any enjoyment to be had. Yes, game, I wanted to grab the corpse rather than the ninja walking off screen. Yes, I enjoy throwing the skydiver ten times because you don't recognize the movement the first nine. Yes, I also enjoy grinding levels to gain no benefit.

I just can't rate this well when the player can be punished by picking up power ups. The number of times I've lost in Survival due to losing my rockets from picking up a flamethrower is painful, and I'm sure others have had the same thing happen repeatedly.

Yay, 4000 energy for completing a level! Take-home pay: 3543 energy. Really, you're going to punish the player, denying them money, because they don't have money to buy your upgrades? I could sit here and rail on this game for quite some hours, but the Confucius sayings at the start of each level pretty much crucify the developer on their own. So, I'll sum it up with this phrase: "1 star, 0 regrets."

A completely luck-based game, devoid of strategy and planning. It's basically just a flash junkie's Yahtzee. The game could really take more than a few hints from better dice-based games such as Alien Frontiers and To Court the King.

I enjoyed the game but felt it was a bit too scripted at points and resources were too restrictive, so I was going to give it a 3/5. Then I won and heard the theme song. I almost thought it was Jonathan Coulton and I was playing Portal again. 5/5!

Every now and again, you end up stumbling across a game that makes you wonder if play testing was ever done, or if the play tester just offed themselves rather than keep playing. Focus is one of those. I spent the majority of my time in this game wishing I was playing something else. Anything else. Solitaire, anyone?

So when Tetris was being made, one of the Russian design team went to a presentation and said "Hey guys, how about we put some physics in this game?" That team member was laughed out of the meeting to comments like "Do you have any idea how terrible that would be with the zigzag pieces?!" and "Games are supposed to be FUN not frustrating!" and that is why the design team was so small. More than 20 years later, in the midst of another "Let's do remakes!" campaign, WeirdBeardGames shows a lack of the crack design team back then.

Pretty enjoyable game. The controls are a bit awkward at first (possibly even frustrating) but a bit of patience and it comes together pretty well. P->R is a bit awkward for a reset, though, maybe just R with a confirmation would be better.

Pros: Updates often (see Cons section), is satisfying to build up, entertaining for the first week or two. Cons: Updates change the metagame frequently making your strategies fall through, extremely laggy game, requires too much time commitment from a builder by lurking the mall and taverns, favors paying players to the point that any and all non-payers are completely helpless late game. Overall: Pretty poorly designed game overall. Doesn't offer much except a power-trip to people with money to burn. I suggest turning and running.

2/5. A tired idea "arena combat" idea implemented poorly with a flawed AI system and without even the courtesy of a plot for a backdrop. The only thing that saves it from a 1/5 is the weight system, which actually makes strategy necessary in Career. Challenge mode should be renamed "Fight against the poor AI to win" mode.
