Confirmed ocrmots's bug find on my second playthrough; clicking away from the candle before the image appears will prevent solving the puzzle and not show the solution in your inventory. I like that the puzzle solutions are randomized each time. My only complaint would be the silver vessel; since no description of items is given, and its not clear, there was no indication as to its purpose (or contents) until I tried it in the right spot because I had no other options left.
Is it just me or does the bomb healing upgrade not heal anywhere close to 50% of max health? Seems more like 1 hit worth of healing, maybe 2 (and I have all the upgrades except for maxing out all the prey upgrades)
Once you get landshark and Santa's hat you don't even need to keep focus on the screen anymore. I just got my worm going and clicked out of the window and he's killing on his own. Just hit a 711 Combo
Only complaint - some of the clickboxes for certain actions should be larger. I mostly got stuck thinking I was missing a piece of a puzzle when I clicked and object in my inventory, and then an obvious target for it, but got a ? response. Took several tries for the switch to the spinning wheel and the sword vs the monster.
strangely addictive. A few comments:
1) I actually found the game easier to play in some of the more "premier" leagues. While the opponent team was faster and had better defense, the fact that teammates were also faster and you could actually try to lead them with a pass into an open area to give them an open shot made it much easier. I went from English Premier league to MLS West, and the teammates are so much slower its very difficult.
2) I didn't even realize I could scroll the lifestyle item menus or the shoe list to find more options until I'd been playing for quite a long time. This is probably because its designed for iPhone, but it seems like there should be an indicator you can scroll.
3) Quirky bug - during the transfer period my team accepted an offer to transfer me to themselves, and then gave me a chance to renegotiate my contract even though they had just refused to do so the previous week.
@PoeBoy - the reason Android usually gets left out is that there are too many different versions of it out there on multiple different hardware platforms with slightly different specs and custom display quirks by each manufacturer, which means there are two many variations for most small developers to put out a product they know will work on all versions.
Fun game, but major bug turned up, which I submitted a report for. If you kill one of the Ransom kids (the healing kids) from behind, I get stuck doing the attack animation on them and never actually get the healing. I have to go back to menu to continue as the controls become unresponsive. Not too hard to avoid unless you happen to enter full rage near one.
@cool10927353 - Level 24 walk through:
1) Switch to Mr Greer (the old man) and fly left and down to get the key - use the alcoves to avoid the laser when it activates. I usually stop in the 1st and last alcoves on the way down, and use both left alcoves on the way up. Open the locked door and get the heart before it vanishes.
2) Switch to Walter - go right. Use Space to activate the elevator. Grab the block (space) and drag it back to the elevator. Space to go down again. Push the block onto the button on the left. Go back up the elevator. Go left to grab the heart and open the door.
3) Leave Walter on the top floor, have Mr Greer activate the elevator to go down. Fly over the elevator to the exit. Then Walter can drop to the roof of the elevator and exit.
One major bug to watch for (I submitted a report) - if you hit spacebar again right after exiting a terminal, it will freeze the game, and you'll have to refresh, losing level progress.
Other than that, I like this a lot. however it does sometimes seem like I have problems hitting an enemy that is currently attacking me - and it would be nice if there was an audio sound when you're being attacked (like biting or a pain sound) as I died at least twice without realizing there was an enemy attacking me.
For anyone who couldn't bother to read the tutorial - you gain morale by winning battles, and capturing cities & ports and lose it by losing battles, cities and ports. A stack can't have more morale than it has troops. If you merge two armies, only manpower goes, not morale. At the end of every turn, every city & capital adds troops. Ports and empty squares increase troops gained in your cities, but won't grow armies themselves. Move full stacks off of cities to get more troops.
Easiest way to do 18, in my opinion.
Delete DelType under the Removeme block, then Type a letter to push it to right most about 2/3rds of the way (7 Ws should do it), then hold backspace to delete some of the Ws.. Then simply delete the Right Aligned block under the bomb - it will fall and hit the laser under the platform and launch the block up and to the left.
One gameplay feature missing that I've seen in other games similar to this - it would be great if you could assign maids to particular floors so they won't roam the whole hotel. Otherwise you tend to end up with a big pile of junk on a few floors while the maids all wander off somewhere else.
Otherwise, pretty nice.
