1/1 A shameless ripoff of Hammerfight, and a poor one at that. While I appreciate that the publisher has given Hammerfight due credit, I still cannot get over the fact that the game attempts to copy not only Hammerfight's concept, gameplay mechanics, and visual style, but even its narative style as well, and done a horrid job at each.
I liked the narrative very much. The gameplay was interesting, but wouldn't really stand on its own without the narrative to drive it. I would have liked for the story to be longer, delve deeper into the character's psyche and his relationship with his wife/partner/lover (I forgot her name). Perhaps even have the gameplay (and narrative) reflect the inconsistencies pointed out by the shrink, leaving the player to take on the role of shrink of their own accord, and without realizing it until the end. Might be interesting. I'm left wondering 'why did he do it?', and would love, as a player, to have the opportunity to dig further into that question, even if the answer remains just as elusive and absent as it already does.
