Well that took long enough! I didn't realize you would get such a powerful benefit and bonus when you ate multiple ghosts during the same power up. Frugal and effect, you can get this by the end of level 3 if you are somewhat lucky, or maybe even by the end of level 2 if you always each 4 ghosts per powerup somehow. I find that, when you do finally eat all 4 ghosts, you usually see them respawn either stacked on each other or right behind each other, so getting another combo becomes that much easier. To get that, you may need to lure them to accomplish this. I find that you can walk around 2 of the powerups pretty each and still get the yellow balls, and leave them for later if you feel like it, but being able to safely get as many balls between each powerup is important to keep a good pace and spread out the powerups effectively.
Starting out, I wasn’t sure which path was the way to go with upgrades. After playing around, i figured out spamming ship dispensers was the way to go, so put my efforts into them. Id have to say a nice amount of levels just require quick placement of ship builders, or youll die instantly. All in all, it would be nice to have time to set up your base before the first enemy waves came, as right now its almost a speed run to place them without misclicking. Albeit different yet similar, I like the way Enigmata: Stellar War does this more, as the difficulty doesn’t jump as fast, and there isnt any real connection between each of your bases in each level, you just sorta show up there.
The hardest part was running flawlessly - the mistake is trying to collect 150 coins while trying to do this, instead i got the 500m and 150 coins together to just need to get flawless done. Was a nice game.
Really? I cant wait for a second version! My only fear is it will be slightly easier than this one, but with 6 years time you can have so much innovation.
This was my first badge on here - The name can be quite misleading, but it was an alright idea, and was done pretty early. Not much after-play value after beating it, though.
Was very useful to a certain point, sadly it does not include the Mobile Badges that many don't even know exist for gain. Otherwise, extremely helpful.
Coming back to it, I really did enjoy this game, at times there was a large need for cash for upgrades, but at other points, the difficult achievements and reattempts paid those out and I enjoyed that balance.
Kinda sad that game coins are not tracked, don't carry over between games, and there is nothing to spend them on. The one in the top left shows which level you are on, yeah, but each time you lose, you must replay all levels. Due to coins not having a use, this makes this a survival game, and you have to hope for a good layout of the balls (large pockets of a matching color to start later levels) to succeed properly.
When in need of energy for upgrades - put your Nature Level 1 in Insane mode, and rack up 450ish per go, and just repeat until you get your desired need for an upgrade. You cna also use leftover speed upgrades on the nature levels to increase the amount you get per go, paying itself off in the long haul.
