The coin gathering isn't that big of a deal. The problem is how your head and feet aren't one line creating an abysmal hitbox and boring gameplay mechanics due to the inability to properly dodge projectiles. Thats why 2D is preferred over this 2.5D-esque model. 2/5
No problem with memory leak. Though, it appears there went little to no thought, or work into this game. All fights are the same as in previous installments, outfits are more or less the same, yet progression is more flawed than ever. Not being able to have any control over winning fights almost throughout the entirety of the game is just extremely lackluster. Being placed into a higher league without any regard of having to lose the first 15/20 matches, due to not being able to fight in the previous league is just not acceptable. 1/5 there is no hope for this developer in my eyes.
Great, short, easy game. No flaws whatsoever that I could think of. I already gave it 5/5, but a sequel with higher difficulty and a longer game time (even survival mode) would really make this a gem amongt the side-scrolling shooter games here. Keep up the good work!
Another incomplete feeling game like the strike force kitty games. Balance is skewed as others mentioned, boss is killable at like level 20, little to no player input involved and incredibly repetitve. 2/5 for the *effort*
The idea is reasonable, but the way it plays out is just horrible in my opinion. No skill involved due to no movement. Upgrades get exponentially expensive whilst your earnings will remain low due to weird auto-advanced-starting. And because there is no real skill involved you HAVE to grind constantly to advance slightly, which without ability to dodge, making it counter-intuitive and just flat out boring to me. 2/5
Although I can look past bugs and glitches, when they are gamebreaking I get worrysome. Games with gamebreaking bugs automatically receive 1/5. Quartermaster quest of buccaneers glitched and is impossible to advance.
Loved it, especially the difficulty at the tunnel level early on. That was spot on. The only reason I struggled was that I didn't know I could upgrade my spike trap. This can be quite the game with the necessary updates. Keep it up!
Don't get all the praise of this game. At first everything is easy, no strategy, nothing. Than you open a chest, and encounter some kind of maniac who instant kills your party, which you then skip next time? Really..
Amazing game. Gameplay, visuals and difficulty curve are extremely well done. I noticed, however, that the second alter of velocity for Flame Orb did not yield any benefit. 5/5
It's effective towards slow enemies and paired with the combustion stat. it can also be paired with repel. when enemies get staggered, they take extra damage. But I suppose, going cookie cutter dps build is a much simpler approach. thanks for playing!
Rather slow game and on top of that extremely easy. I'd suggest add corridors of some sort to make it harder, can even combat the rise in difficulty with more dedicated upgrading. 2.5/5
