Perhaps it is by design, but I have been playing for 2 days. I still cannot prestige. Perhaps I am playing wrong, or not active enough. However, it feels like the requirements for prestige are a bit rough for a rather straightforward game. On top of that, the only benefit from prestiging is gaining a bonus. No additional features to unlock.
Its got a great concept for it, there is much to build on top of this.
The prestige 'is' rough like you say; But by no means the final solution to that feature of the game. This is why I added the shop button (albeit without content) and also wrote [SUBJECT TO CHANGE] in the Prestige system itself. Currently the time does not save if you reload or restart the game (for prestige), The next update, which will be quite a while since it's stable will bring use for that shop and a more refined feel to the Prestige system as a whole. On prestige you will gain however many Score you have will convert into Prestige Points to spend on about 8 different thing, from animals born each tick to mitigating weather effects on animal BR and DR.
I thought that the game would autosave, but it didnt. Or it did and then couldn't find it after. Either way, my whole first day of progress is gone :(

Whats the point of an open beta on a new game of the exact same thing? are they seriously just going to start over?!there isn't anything foundational wrong with the original, just needs tweeking. I can only suspect that the new one is designed to make them more money. If so, they are really going the wrong direction with this game, people already like it and play it, they would just like to see some minor changes.
Great game, been playing since the beginning. I have managed to hit an apparent dead zone though. I have 1.5 quarttourdecillion angels, but I can't buy any more upgrades. money or angel. It is going to take me 5 days to earn enough money to buy the next upgrade, and around the same to double the number of angels. It could be months before I can reach the next tier of upgrades at this rate.
