I loved the original and this one is just as good. Use of Stage3D keeps it (mostly) smooth as butter and the lovely background visuals intact.
Unfortunately the use of Stage3D also appears to be drawing plenty of comments from technically ignorant blockheads. Such is life.
For those asking for a mute button, read the instructions ;)
As for "saving" - if you complete a planet, it will save that. Next time you play you get a planet select screen. You cannot save part-way through a planet however.
Thanks for the comments all :) killer2237 - the Gameboy had a resolution of 160x144 which we copy here, only we zoom x2. The actual Gameboy screen had quite large pixels really, but still only as many of them as we use.
Toper - Bombs were added quite last minute, so no they don't blow each other up. Heck, they don't even blow YOU up! :)
Genius game. Simple, but bloody difficult at the same time. The "you can pass from one side to the other" means you can walk off the left of the screen and you appear on the right. Which is essential to get past the trickier parts higher up the castle. Great fun indeed.
Quazzimodo - you need to get the same colours in all four corners of the box. It doesn't matter which colours come between them (or fill up the rest of the box). Only the corners matter.
Yumos - It was made by me, Candystand sponsored it. Check out http://www.photonstorm.com/games/ to see for yourself.
Nice simple concept, good animations and fun sounds - but it does get kinda boring, mostly because it's so easy. The only reason you'd not manage is because the letters are so tiny, and blur so badly when they move, it's hard to make out what they are sometimes!
