Something that has always bugged me. In pvp on your opponents turn you can't see the name of cards you click because it's blocked by "waiting for opponent to move..."
Could we move that text a little bit so we can read card names?
Hi Devs, I noticed Master levels around 60+ have "Greater healing, heal trainer for 10hp each turn" while the really early levels have "Waterfall, heal the trainer for 25hp each turn" and it seems a bit counter intuitive, just wondering if intentional or not :P
Hi Powerfrog, thanks for your interest! It's indeed intentional, the AI plays a different deck and has a different amount of Action Points depending the difficulties. Hope this clarifies it :p Thanks!
The thing with auction is that it's understandable to cost tokens and encourage players to spend money, but the auction would actually be a lot more popular if more people were able to use it. I would guess the real money spenders are people who desire to buy cards, unfortunately for them nearly all the free players aren't able to put their cards for sale because they lack tokens, so nobody wins.
While the score is shown at the end of a level, we never know the GOAL score to get a 3 star victory. Sometimes we need 7k score, sometimes 20k. The bar is kinda notorious for filling all the way up and still giving 2 stars by the way.
Finally just wanna echo jewbawls suggestion about being able to toggle the "Are you sure you wanna end turn, you have 1AP left!" That is an appreciated feature for newer players but many strategies end up having spare AP very often so it can get a bit annoying :P
Thanks for everything you do you wonderful devs :)
Hi Powerfrog, thank you for understanding and for your time writing this comment. Like we said in the official forums, we are re-thinking the AH strategy so it can be affordable to more players. We will definitely do something about it, and we do appreciate your interest in it. Regarding the scoring, you are totally right, we are writing this down and we will show the goal somewhere in the popup or during gameplay. Finally, the AP left notificator can be easily disabled so I will make sure to add an extra option with that functionality. Thanks!!
Hi FrozenShardGames I'm actually quite embarrassed about my previous comment, I got top scores in my GYM and I just assumed it was a global score haha. I'm starting to realize the game is balanced better than I realized. I still think progress should be based on total number of stars rather than 3 wins though (Gives player alternative ways to grind it, either perfect earlier levels or push through higher levels, more interesting)
Thanks for being such attentive and cool devs!
Getting 3 stars in later levels seems to be next to impossible (if not entirely). I have scores in the top 3 of all people on certain maps and I still get 2 stars. It needs to be re-worked.
Also, it would really be a lot more appealing if the progress was based on total number of stars. Right now, the difference between 1 and 2 stars is meaningless.
Hey Powerfrog, thanks for the suggestion and for the heads up, could you please state which levels do you refer? And in which difficulties? We will take a look at them and review their difficutly and scoring. Thanks!
Aww I was enjoying myself but only the easy levels are available on kong. I understand you wanna drive people to your site, but please add at least medium levels so we get more than 5 minutes of gameplay...
Hi Powerfrog, sorry for the delay. I'm glad you enjoyed the easy levels, I've added all medium difficulty puzzles to Kongregate, which you can unlock by clearing all easy difficulty puzzles. If you've already cleared them all, simply clear a puzzle you've already cleared to unlock medium difficulty. Thanks for the feedback, hope you have fun with the new puzzles!
My advice for the hard badge. Jungle brook is by far the hardest, you need 16 under par for 3 stars (Probably a typo in the code to be honest, most are 6 under par...)
Anyway, the hardest part of that course is the first hole. So simple keep drawing cards over and over until you have all 8 golf clubs to help you do the other holes, but more importantly, until you get the chance card and get a perfect score on hole 1. After you've got that out of the way, the rest aren't too bad if you use all 8 clubs for maximum value.
You can win it legitimately, maybe 1/10 times with good luck, but this is faster.
"Play the game for 2-5 days real time"? Why on earth are these achievements in the game? I've got all other achievements in about 6 hours of game time. The game had a nice bit of replayability earning the achievements and getting more booster packs, but I think you've seriously overestimated how long people will play. For reference, the last time achievement is 120 hours. It took me 6 to get the rest. Please add more reasons to play longer to legitimize these achievements, cos it's a great game.
I really really enjoyed the hell out of this. I really hope you continue or extend on this, as it's a great concept, fun gameplay, and the art is pretty cool too.
Hi Powerfrog, We have the pause button (with the timer of 5 minutes), so in case you're on a hard level, you don't wipe while you're reading. Once you do a reset, you can turn it off from the Settings menu (the gear symbol.) =)
The clicks per second achievement seem completely impossible for a human to do. Spamming both mouse buttons and the enter key I've only managed to get 18.
I'll address that some people may be able to get more than that manually, however I feel like such a bizarrely difficult requirement is ill-fitting for this kind of game. The reward is also extremely good so people are incentivised to install an autoclicker, even if only to get the achievement and then uninstall.
While I'm relatively slow, I don't believe anyone is actually capable of getting 36/s manually on earth with a regular mouse and keyboard. I request the dev team to actually attempt this and make a game you don't need 3rd party software to play.
you can play the same game across mobile as well where it's a lot easier (And you can sync your game progress across platforms) presumably it's easier on a pc if you have a multi-touch device of some sort as well. Some people are also doing it completely legally by spamming all mouse buttons and one of the keyboard keys which all work as discreet events.
Extremely satisfying puzzle game. This kind of game makes me wonder how the developer ever created the puzzles in the first place, solving them is hard, creating them seems near impossible!
Organization member cost really needs to be matched to how many members you currently have, if 0, it costs 20, if 1, 25, if 2, 30... or so on in whatever formula you wish, it's just kind of broken now, because if you do not immortalize them immediately and they die, the price remains high and will only increase going forward, you screwed your entire save file.
Clever funny little dialogue parts, interesting fire from cover gameplay mechanic, the things i feel let this game down are that there is a limited amount of upgrade customization or weapon types and the difficulty doesn't appear to scale very smoothly (too easy for the most part) Despite the new enemy types being introduced the game does still feel like it's a little repetitive towards the end.
I had great fun playing this, the only thing that i didn't like was the lack of an 'add all zombies' button. I must have clicked the 'add 1 zombie' button over 1000 times.
Hi Powerfrog, thanks for the suggestion, you are right, we are going to work on something to avoid that indeed. Thanks!
