The heck. No build hotkeys? Can we have some please, this kind of thing is almost expected from this kind of game...and since they aren't in yet, can I please request that those build hotkeys are customizable?
I love how the decidedly less-attractive GUI makes an already useless "Inventory List" even MORE useless by blocking the bottom end of my list so that i can't meticulously search how many items i have left in the bottom right corner. bravo, too bad i already rated 1 star, can't get much lower than that :/
seeing as "some luck involved" is incorrect (it actually requires nothing but luck—you could literally get 2000+ in 1 minute without even pressing arrow keys, but there are times where its impossible to continue because your bubble is actually surrounded by nothing but mines, and your bubble is too big to escape the "wall of mines" so you have no choice but to lose) I feel every bit of right to whine.
0/5 stars rating--I like to do badges of the day, but when its like this...I gladly quit playing
*edit* As soon as I finished typing that below comment, I found a ring of protection and discovered what it does lol :) but I guess not knowing about it also has something to do with the "hard to learn about diff. features" thing :P also I didn't know about losing stuff on death so maybe a "warning" sign in the Advanced Training map near that crack in the wall?
Usually, games with this much content have a problem advertising different aspects/benefits/features/etc. to newbies, but I like how this game made it relatively easier to find such things. The game was pleasant to play because I felt safe to explore different aspects of it without fear of some penalty/inefficiency (since the earlier items are sold for amounts of coins that are easy to obtain). One thing on arena deaths though, you lose all rings w/ no way of getting them back except re-finding each one, and no way of buying something to either lower that chance or protect the rings altogether? This makes it so I definitely don't want to click the "Travel" button 'til I'm 2-hitting a boss in the current map...and I was disappointed that I couldn't keep exploring as a noob warrior to get pwnd by different high level monsters. Such a thing is probably trivial in the larger view of the game, so I guess its safe to just leave it as it is (since it is only a minigame lol). 5/5
--Part1--i gave 3 stars because they don't explain a very important tip for people to understand when getting 5-day badge: **SKIP UPGRADE SQUARES AS MUCH AS YOU CAN**! example: If you want level 3 launcher, don't click level 1, then 2, than 3—you get a HUGE discount by skipping straight to 3. Knowing this fact made the game MUCH MUCH easier. The best way to start Day 1 is as jander's says (made mistake here about 3 in launcher)—also when launching on this first day, its important to get every ft you can: when click/holding hedgehog, grab as close to the Hedgehog's mouth as possible. When you drag down, it gives you just a few extra ft higher so you get more money. When flying the first day, hit every single platform that u possibly can ONLY on the way down—on the way up, stay as straight as possible to get the highest ft multiplier you can. This is all extremely important on day 1—i always get $1,400 or $1,500 minimum on day 1 (Unless i'm unlucky).
--Part2--After this, its very simple: Day2) Skip as many squares as you can in Launcher Day3) Skip as many squares in Banding Day4) You should have enough to get ALL 3 e-rockets at once AND max launcher Day5) I actually had MORE money than I knew what to spend on. You should have maxed Launcher+Banding+e-Rockets. At this point i bought goggles and wasted my money on everything else. LOL with the tips previously mentioned, i didn't even use 1 e-rocket to get into space on Day 5. and remember: the most important thing about spending your money is how many squares you skip, NOT what order you max Launcher/Banding/e-Rockets!! 4 stars when they put in tutorial on buying, and a restart button! Unfortunately this is as much a game of luck as it is of game-skill :( so GOOD LUCK!
WTF the music to this game?? I mean i'm not asking for Sushi Cat 2 music here, but why the hell do i feel like i'm playing a version of The Company of Myself?
at least give us asdw movement in addition to arrow keys—also, giving hotkeys to 1) spells, 2) potions, 3) talking to NPC A, B, and C. If you simply don't want to/don't have the time to/can't decide what hotkeys go where, make a Menu where we can designate our own hotkeys. Also—seriously—we don't get full heal on level up? at least let us heal a small amount of HP/SP without those relics. Other than this stuff...i think this is a great and fun game :)
1)the mouse doesn't lock into the game screen--if i keep looking to the right my mouse will go into the game info bar outside of gamescreen so i can't just keep turning if i want to
2)when u click stuff in the ESC menu, your gun still shoots
YES. THIS SHINIT IS EPIC. i gave 5/5 anyway but i'd like to see a way to share our setup with somebody else (or just let others "Play" our setup); more fun tools/toys would be icing on the cake (anything like dominos landing on buttons to activate something somewhere else, exploding starter dominos, a way to make it so 3 or more dominos have to land on something to activate it, etc.); and a even bigger surface!! but i dunno...i guess maybe i'm the only one who spend hours in this thing to fill up that much of this table :p and bigger screen as in take up more space in my browser--the current window is too small for the coolness
still leavin it 5/5 cuz of how great it is even now :)
game is off to an alright start...BUT WHERE ARE THE HOTKEYS FOR SELECTING UNITS??
and what about assigning groups?
suggestion:
letter hotkeys for creating units;
ctrl+# to assign selected units to a group;
make a unit assignable to multiple groups while ur at it! (i.e. shooters can be assigned to group 1, 3, and 4 at same time)
if these suggestions are unacceptable, a similar system please!!
or better yet allow us to customize our own hotkeys!
thank you
