So I've finally completed the last of the challenges... I had really hoped that an update would come before I reached that point. It's OK to take your time crafting new content, but giving it so much time that players are actually able to reach the end of the current game... That's a big no-no. And if you've actually given up on putting out new stuff without telling your community, that's an even bigger no-no. Maybe I'll come back in 2-3 months but as things stand I'm really disappointed, this was very promising. Too bad.
I had a weird bug today, instead of gaining +2 or +3 Cobalt Slime it was... +22. Seems to be back to normal now, but you might wanna take a look at that. Great game btw ;-)
Just a quick and easy suggestion: make the multibuy setting stay the same between two sessions, right now it resets itself to 1 every time and it's driving me nuts
Please please PLEASE lower the steel requirements, that shit is driving me insane. What's even the point of having several crafting materials if one of them is required in such ridiculous amounts?
I bought the auto wooden and silver chest upgrades yet I'm stuck on a treasure quest even though I'm seeing silver chests whizzing by... Guess I just wasted 300 Prestige points
I noticed an issue with the crit chance upgrade of the Burster and Flamer turrets. Supposedly it should increase the base crit chance by 25% and 20% respectively (at max level) but all I got was 0.25% and 0.2%... I don't know about the other turrets but it might be worth looking into it.
Any plans on adding sound effects? I mean I love this game but it would be so much more satisfying to hear some zombie groans, some explosions, some cries of terror, some squishy gore, some bones cracking... you get the idea ;) Thanks for a great game!
I'm a little confused by the latest update, is it normal that the countdown for fast-forward offline progress doesn't show up anymore? I'm not 100% sure but it looks like I'm getting no offline progress at all... Any clues about what's going on?
Hey @gniller Any chance we could get more than 25 stat points? I mean it's not really necessary and I suppose it would change the balancing of the game, but I would find it really satisfying to pump those rookie numbers up :3
Quick suggestion: maybe you could add a mechanic to generate gold faster. I was thinking that could be a new hero class, say, a thief, that would "steal" gold when he attacks, and that could be his special bonus in the armory. Just an idea of course
I might be doing something wrong but after some point the enemy stats grow so rapidly that at one floor you're one-shotting everything, then at the next one you get wiped without making a dent in the first enemy, which means putting points in anything besides experience and damage is utterly useless... Not really great for strategy
There's a weird issue with the "Next unlock" thingy where it sometimes shows the wrong floor (in my case it showed "Next unlock at floor 48" instead of 49, same with 63 instead of 64)
Massive kudos to the dev for his hard work. It's very obvious that you listen to the community, and every day you bring us a new update that fixes multiple issues. Special thanks for fixing that pesky "x2 +1" problem, my OCD has never been so satisfied.
The fact that the threshold for a x2 autobuy isn't actually x2 but x2 + 1lvl is driving me nuts. That means if I do a layer 2 Prestige and set a x2 multiplier, the autobuyer won't trigger after I get 1 point and die, it will trigger when I get 5 POINTS and die, then it will actually go from x1 to x3. It doesn't really affect the gameplay, but on a conceptual level it's really annoying to know "x2" doesn't really mean x2
OK so with a bit of experimentation I think I've figured out what that split/single buy thing means. Split means you have to wait to have enough prestige points to trigger all autobuyers at once, while single means that the first autobuyer that reaches its threshold will trigger regardless of the other autobuyers. For example, "split or experience as single" means that the game allows the experience buyer to trigger on its own, but the other buyers can only trigger if you have enough prestige points for all 4 of them. Am I the only one who feels like this is uselessly complicated?
Manual upgrades really don't need to have a multiplication factor, as it can get annoying to be unable to buy the exact amount you want. A simple +1 / +10 / +100 / etc. would be much better.
Also I have no idea what split/single buys are. I don't know if this option is useful or not because I don't even know what it does. Maybe try a more detailed explanation?
Again, I really like this game, but lately it has turned into a slightly frustrating experience due to the strange mechanics that have been introduced. I hope this comment helps, cheers for the amazing work mate.
I've really enjoyed the game this far, but I feel that the latest changes are not going in the right direction, especially when it comes to autobuyers. Why bother with stuff like x sqrt (current lvl) that virtually nobody will use? Simple multiplication factors are more than enough, although I wish the autobuyer would buy exactly enough levels, not just spend everything it can as soon as the threshold is reached. I like my upgrades to be at the same level, especially max health and healing, so having an exact x2, for example, would be really neat.
Hi, there was a bug with this - it should be hotfixed now! Refresh your game for it to kick in :)
