Okay, here's my review (and yes, I'm more or less back):
Overall, the game needs a lot of work. Revamped animations would do better. A less clutter area would also be good. That's all I have to complain about. Other than that, the game plays well and multiplayer is a great feature. Currently, 3.5/5. Work on it some more, give the people what they've been waiting 1.5 years for.
This game was bad. It was badly put together is what I mean. The visuals are terrible, and I want to emphasize on terrible. The level design was poor at best. You should add more framerate in order to make the animations at the beginning more smooth. Overall, I'd rate this game a two.
Five'd and fave'd. I loved the visuals. They were absolutly splendid. Really. The new style of game was difficult to master, yet fun at the same time. That's more than I can say for most games. Now for the bad part. Hit the ends of the lines can be really annoying at times. Plus, the lines split on occasion, so you are really in for a challenge. It rocked meh sox, but it could use some tweaking, such as instead of lines, boxes?
Question 4: What show just started a new season that is new?
This question will 1) become outdated soon, and 2) is very incorrect (new season that is new).
So, you made a game. It seems well put together, but doesn't deliver any entertainment. By "well put together" I mean the layout is neat, which is more than I can say for most games.
Don't be an arse posting comments about how you made a game. It's boring, and anyone who has had 5 minuets of AS2 training could figure out how to make this, and better. Actually, and old-timey users will remember, I once uploaded a game called Key Kraze to this site, but I removed it due to it not meeting my standards. I knew it would not get front page, but I still did it. What I mean is, don't be an arse, because even Jude (no offense to Jude) has more Flash skill.
I'd say you've done lots of versions of this game. Lets count. First was Sling, an easy and fun game. Second was Slingette, you play as a girl this time. Slingette was like Mrs. Pacman. Then, Sling Junior! Half the levels are cut off, and you play as a kid. Then came Sling Fire, your a fire this time instead of slime. This one had different levels, though. And now, Slingoween. I'd classify this as a minigame. One thing I suggest you add is a longer recover time, as one you are hit by ghosts or pumpkins (floating ones), you'll probably have to respawn, with the ghost still there, to lose another life. I liked the whole RPG element you added. Well, not RPG, but you can explore parts of the level. Well, not "explore", as some parts of the level become restricted, but... you know.
Wow! I remember reading your blog, that's what inspired me to to Flash. It's nice to see you're in Kongregate. I really hope you enjoy it. With that said, the game had some annoying music, but was still good. The graphics were decent. This game reminded me of Boomshine, althought just a little. Overall, good attempt and keep trying.
The intro animation was great, and all the visuals were superb. The gameplay ran smooth. So far, it seems great, right? The game can get very boring and tedious at times, and there were quite a lot of bugs. There's more to a game than massive killing. This type of game is what I call a "mega minigame", a game that is short, not necessarily fun, yet expanded in so many ways. Anyways, now that my frustration is out of the way, I do understand you put a lot of hard work into it, so props on that. Maybe you could ask for other people's opinions on your ideas before you begin making the game. I'd rate it a 4/5, but that's just me. Overall, it had it's fancy stuff, but it was boring.
This is a glitchy game, but still quite fun. I'm sure you put a lot of hard work into it, and I love it. However, the badges are mediocre. Aiming at the head 500 times is prepasturous, I can't believe it. Another thing... sometimes I spend all my hours on searching, but I don't find any weapons/survivors. Couldn't their be a "6 hour, survivor/weapon guaranteed" thing? The game is great, though. It looked realistic, which is something not many artists decide to do in Flash. Great game, overall.
Excells as a platformer. The thing that most impressed me was the physics engine, one like that is hard to come by. The graphics could have some more work on 'em, but considering that this game is pretty old, I won't rant on that. I also found it short. It had some similarities to Mario, the platformer style and all, but the game was great. One other question: Will FPA 2 rock as much as I think?
This game is great. First off, the visuals. They weren't anything like "wow, this r get Nbl prz b33t Al Gre lol", but they were pretty decent. The "dood" movie had great graphics in it, though, so I guess that stands out more. The ability to make music in this is great, I just wish they could be exported to MP3 format. Another thing, it bothers to try to find out the perfect riff for your song. The game is really great, but please put in the option for a longer song. Like many other games, this one is in my fave's.
I thought the concept of this game was quite interesting. Jumping on blocks... at first I thought "Boring, can't wait to review.", but as the game progressed, it became very fun. The visuals were done in a very nice style. I love pixel art. The game had a very nice feel to it. The jump height should be bigger, though. Sometimes I barely even reached the cube. Another thing, why not make only the top of the box touchable, to avoid all those pesky loses. Overall, the game could be greatly improved, but is still worthy of its front-pageness. Well deserves its spots in many peoples favorites, including mine.
A great upgrade from the classic Manifold. The difference in difficulty was big. I have a few suggestions if you plan to throw out a sequal. You could do something like "multiplayer races". This would definatly bring in a bigger percentage of users. Another thing you could do is make this a premium game, and implement a microtransactions API so that users have to purchase additional levels. Yet another thing you could do is make a website like NUMA (N User Map Archive), where users can create and share their own levels. With enough work, this game could be epic. If you need any help... I'm always here. ;D
