I really liked this. it's a story, not a game, so I can understand why the reviews are low, but I still think it was great.
The mobile interface for scrolling is very bad, so I'm giving 4/5. Angela's character is a little plasticy too, but that's outweighed by scope of the work. I thought future todd's development and the way his time lapses through the story were very thoughtfully done.
Btw, maybe I missed it, but it was never clear what happened in africa that caused em to split... That time "todd was drunk"
There's a ton of potential here, but the controls are just too bad. give us a big whip button and some large arrows on-screen to control movement. the click system for movement was really bad (may be better on a pc, but impossible on mobile)
The deadspace influence is pretty heavy. The atmosphere great though. Very smooth implementation, nice graphics/music. The gameplay and action is a little slow though.
