This is actually great to learn the states, especially when you're european. This might as well help me learn them all in a short while. 5/5 would learn geography again.
So this thing about the customers disliking the other guy's hotel because of "a problem with the elevator"... was it a pun or something? Because that's how they must feel about the player's hotel later in the game, lol.
It keeps happening to me that if I seem to miss the beat for the slightest fraction of a second, I fail... I know it might sound like I'm really bad at this and I'm whining, but maybe it has to do with my calibration?

You can change any of the colours by clicking again on a selected colour (on the palette). The allows you to turn brown into bright yellow if need be.
