Kongregate ads make the game almost unplayable many many times now. They load and it freezes your game and that will get you killed with this one. Either Kongregate needs to limit the ads so they download just once, remove the ads from the game page even if you don't PAY for no ads (just this page) or you need to play this game off Facebook or another site that don't flood you with ads.
On RIFT raids there needs to be a way to kick leechers. People that take up one of the slot but dont ever deploy any ships. Something like if you have gone 5 waves and have less then 100 pts during that time you can be booted and you get NO CREDIT WHAT SO EVER for the RIFT. Its very annoying to only have 2 or 3 slots and to get one of these individuals that simply take up space and contribute absolutely zero for 20 or more waves.
Try it, play it a little, then move on and don't waste your money here. Lots of other good games where there is some meat on the bone and the developers dont throw temper tantrums like spoiled three year olds screaming how they are taking their toys and going home because everyone is so mean.
THAT was the kiss of death for....THe Gate and probably why its in Hell.

PvP is supposed to sell this game and here is where they REALLY fall short. At lvl 10 with creatures still in the single digits, I was put up against a maxxed out across the board lvl 30. 4 out of 4 cards...needless to say, I lost within 8 seconds of joining battle. Each of his one shotted mine. WHAT FUN! And this is where they base their game play at....ahuh...pass.
Now add to this that the developer decided the best way to deal with the angry CUSTOMERS of their game was to LOCK THEIR FORUMS when the ungrateful mob dared to speak the truth to them and yeah, this one gets a 3 star because I still see the potential but honestly, I don't see this one pulling out of its nose dive.
Evaluation for the Gate.
3 stars: Average...but not worth wasting Kreds on.
Here is why. The game is simple. Get cards, fight, rinse repeat. There is no "tactics" to speak of...at BEST you get a little target you can click on to target one specific enemy, not that it matters much. The computer does the entire combat and its over so fast you cant even start to control any of your creatures...its fire and forget. The leveling system is poor at best...much like other games of this nature, you "upgrade" or eat trash cards you get from battles to add exp to the ones you want to develop. Of course, you have to 'eat' about a billion of them to go up one level once you hit 20 and there is a max of 30. There is really no PvE content to speak of....you get it all within the first 4 area then again, its a rinse and repeat.
I have noticed that since 2 patches ago that sometimes when I place my fleet my interceptors are put at the SIDE of my ships, not in front of them. This has caused more then one ship to die quickly and cost me the battle. Was this intentional?

And there is also the fact that the dev probably want people to pay and play their game and don't want someone going...Oh...well this sucks because I dont want to be a sniper, I want to blast people with a shotgun but can't now cause I already picked a sniper so...yeah, FARK OFF DEVS and wander off to find another game.
Comments are not just to bitch and gripe but to make suggestions and try to help the devs make a game more to the public taste AND to help them make money cause...well....if they dont make money, they wont be able to make us more game....funny how that works ain't it?

Asking if you can delete an account covers a huge amount of territory, not just min/maxing the type you start with. Perhaps, oh for the sake of argument, I...oh, I dunno, got a wild hair up my arse and wanted to try a different kind oh...I dunno again....just FARKING BECAUSE....how do I know what I like to play till I have tried it out?
Why not add the 1,5,10,100 drop down for ppl that want to sell. Players starting out don't have millions of gold coming in and it would help them to be able to sell off junk they don't need or want.

Game is very buggy and they change things without warning making the game unplayable at time. Bug reporting and fixes are a joke. They won't reply to anything you send in so don't bother. The combat system is good but the crafting system is a joke also. No point in it. This is NOT a BETA version of this, its an ALPHA version and the total and complete lack of any kind of support or feedback from anyone makes this a game that falls short on all counts because then they mess with things, combat becomes undoable. Might be worth a look at in another 6 months to a year but there are just too many other games that ARE worth playing to bother with this one.
Only FB (dislike)...must be deving for FB game. Whatever they just did tweaking it just broke it. Going from a 75% win rate to a 100% LOSE rate kinda means the game is no longer worth playing.
