This is the game that got me modded. So thanks to the community that played this game and the mods who nominated me. Thanks for 5PG for putting up with my passive aggressive diehard casual style. <3 Love you guys. You will always be in my hearts! See you are Kongregate!
Things the game needs desperately.
1) User-Programmable Hot keys for movement instead of the mouse.
2) New maps and objectives. Capture the flag, hold the most locations, most PVP kills in 15minutes, and the current one, could provide much needed variety. 4 maps and 4 objectives would be 16 game styles adding replay value.
3) Reduced ship costs in B!. I understand the need to monetize the game, and that's fine. But 4000 B! isn't enough for even a generic ship like Circe or Iron Wolf.
4) A 1p tutorial on what each weapon does for your ship is probably asking a lot (is it really though). But for a new player this would be invaluable and provide depth to your game.
5) A change to the queue. Joining up with 1 friend is nice. But with a team of 5 maybe that isn't the way to go. Something like Join as Guild instead would also work.
6) Make Kill/Death Ratio mean something. Perhaps award more B! during the round or rewarding weekly B! for leader board achievements.
cont: and the lights are spaced enough that you can't click more than one light at a time. -- This leaves me to the conclusion that the game has fake difficulty, and if I am lucky enough, eventually leaving all lights on, will win the game for me. Graphics were unimpressive. Felt like I was squinting the entire time. -- It felt more like a timed puzzle based upon luck, than figuring it out with brains. Maybe it's just me. But I like puzzle games based upon that make me think. This, is based upon luck. :(
This game is infuriating. I hate leaving negative comments on games. But the game has built in fake difficulty. 1) you cannot control all lights for intersections, despite that being your job. 2) Cars in streets you do not control go painfully slow through the intersections. 3) Cars in streets you do control, speed like crazy. 4) Semi-s and buses move slower and take up even more valuable room. 5) Cars are random, which means your cannot plan for lights game to game. (This makes this game luck based. A terrible way to make a game. Think of it as rolling a dice only to get a 6 to proceed through the level. That's what luck does.) 6) cannot click lights on and off quick enough because the random cars, buses, police cars, and semi-s have different speeds.
I don't often suggest certain badges become Hard from Medium. But the "Growth Spurt Badge" seems to feel like an exception. This game however and that badge is entirely too grindy. And by the time you figure out what you are doing, you could have just not blown up any gold areas (mines, I guess, more like sign posts that tell you BLOW UP HERE really) for the last 20 days or so to get the badge over with.
Potential for a good game. 2/5 though. Boring music, lack-luster tutorial that explains what is going on, and the sign posts make it feel like it is cheating. Typically except better quality from Armor.
Congratulations!
Badge earned
Badge Of The Day
You just earned the Powered Up! Badge and 15 points + 15 points for Badge of the Day!
One of the WORST games I ever played, and I like these kinds of games.
The margin for error in jumps, the landing of said jumps into shocks, spikes, and mines is far too narrow. This games difficulty level attempts to make up for it's lack of content. Horrible way to build a game.
Needs a toggle option to prevent people from teleporting to you -- useful especially if you are soloing or if you have a really creepy guy following you around.
I play a lot of games on here. Note to the developer and any other developer reading this: the word DEMO is Kryptonite no matter how good your game is.
You are essentially saying to the people of Kongregate. I know this is a free site and all but I'm going to promise you the best sports team out there. But as soon as you get into it and it becomes fun the team is like... time to make you pay if you want to keep up the fun!
It's just not worth the hassle when literally over 50000 games are on the site that are completely free. Perhaps Kongregrate is not the site for your business model.
I loved this game, it was well done, balanced, loved the weapons concept for your towers. But after 8 battles the game is over. And that, is not love worthy, that is not fun, that is not what I come to Kongregrate for. :)
Fun game as always by Nerdook. I don't want to give a spoiler but the ending while predictable was very satisfying. 4/5 Excellent game will play Nerdook games again!
I was too quick to submit. But buying ARMOR really helps you keep your stash. And you can either grind mission 1 over and over again. Or you can buy armor and mines/slammer and just ram anything (MUCH MORE FUN [and quicker] THIS WAY). Slammer is the ONLY side to side weapon and it's probably the best in all honesty. Mines/Mega Mines/Slick go BEHIND you. Not so useful if you got a good engine. And Rocket and Guns shoot in front of you. I like the GUNS over Missile. I never used the Missle (or Guns) until AFTER I beat the game. So, you really don't need anything more than Regular Mines or the Slammer and MAX Armor to max out how much take home pay / respect you get.
