Found a level skip glitch on accident. if you die, there is a window where you can press space to retry before the menu comes up. If you do this and manage to beat the level with the menu blocking the screen, you progress to the next level, and on the next level you get the victory menu. Press space when you see the victory menu and you will skip your current level.
Just got the Energy Rifle after loads of grinding, and all I have to say is... Really? It's a powerful weapon, but it's aimed completely off the sight. It shoots a full sight-width to the left.
Decent little game, I like the attack style. I'm not fond, however, of how the ship follows the cursor. It's very, VERY annoying when you're trying to mouse over a ship and the only way to destroy it is to get in its direct line of fire. It's also frustrating that asteroids that break apart that leave pieces on the screen can actually leave the screen. If you did something about these it would definitely improve the game.
So pumped that Isoball 3 is finally out, I loved the first two because the answer isn't always the quickest and simplest thing you see, but is still simple enough to keep from being frustrating. Keep 'em coming!
Having a lot of fun with this game. Something I noticed, why does a 6-shooter revolver have 8 rounds? Even in the reload animation he loads six bullets.
Well then, I finally achieved all the endings, turns out 12 of the items aren't needed at all. I'm all for adding to the story, but when 2/3 of the artifacts lead to the endings, it is frustrating scanning the world for that last artifact, then scanning for the portal(which turns out doesn't exist). Don't get me wrong, the endings were very clever to get and overall I'm impressed, but please understand my frustration.
So I'm missing endings 2, 8, and 9, can't find Lorem Tablet II or a piece of what I assume is the 2nd ending, and after a ton of walking around, the fun is really starting to be drained from this game.
This is an excellent game. I love how you left out specific directions of where to go, giving people the leap-of-faith feeling, especially on the third level. Impressive artwork, excellent soundtrack, and even a good story for how short it was. I'll have to give the time trials a try now!
I had a fair amount of fun with this, figured out how everything worked pretty quickly and I'm curious about faster algorithms. Currently #14 in the top 100 and I'm hoping to move up even more. Bravo on a wonderful puzzle idea!
This is just like Final Fight with dinosaurs, I like this a lot. The hit detection seems a little iffy, and I really feel limited with only one real attack button. The special and flying attacks are nice, but it would be nice if I could use those to lead into combos.
Is there a reason why the boss doesn't die when it has 0/1000 health? I've encountered this four or five times so far and though it doesn't impede my progress, it is rather confusing.
I'm about 50/50 on this game. It is a little complex for my tastes and some of the skills seem completely useless at certain points, but I'm still enjoying the gameplay and I like the hero feature. I had a pretty hearty laugh when I saw that the "Evil Hellbeasts" were Cactaurs.
Really love this game. Far from my style and I still keep coming back even after getting all 28 achievements. Maybe an endless mode next time? I'd love to build up my character more and more and see how far I can get him into an endless dungeon without shops, relying on picking up consumable items from chests and using my heal spells to stay alive, but starting with the equipment I've already found in the main game.
Very.... Odd... Glitch I seem to have fallen into. I entered Ep2 Level 1 on easy mode with no autofire or wingman autofire with the speedy ship, shot a single shot and my ship froze in position, and now multiplier, tension, and score is skyrocketing like crazy. Anybody else have this weird effect?
