The game will be over in July. They are shutting it down and will not merge it with their active servers. Gonna miss hanging out with all my friends! If you find a nice game and want some company, send me a message! Cheers!
Rated as a 1. Because it is a DEMO. Would the developer PLEASE put that all his games are demos of the full version? Save me the trouble of even looking at them.
Level cap is 6??? Are you serious? Yet another reason to give this bugged game low marks. I am not spending (insert "wasting") $16 on the HOPE that the purchased game doesn't crash like this "trial" version. Would be nice if it was in bold "YOU WILL NOT LEVEL BEYOND SIX... and you WON"T see any maps other than just the starter newbie map... oh.. and any time you buy a spell it will disapear the next time you reload the game... and sometimes in combat you will get a critical hit and it won't do any damage... and some items will disapear when you buy them... and your gold won't be reported correctly either...."
I have to rate this game as a 1. Good idea. Good concept, but I am completely frustrated that the game locks up during "level up". I would like to see my character get to another level.... instead of having to refresh the game, go back to start.. and do it all over again. For the tenth time.
Just a note... The only way to play the full version is to pay to play on (insert unamed pay-to-play-flash-games.com)
Or you can buy it for $16 (I assume this is United States dollars). Thank goodness there is Kongregate! Go free games that are worth playing!
In Story mode.. Sandstorm defense goes a few rounds too many. There ends up being, on round 39, a dirgible that does a one-hit-kill on your temple. That would be ok, cept I can't take it down with two fully upgraded uber-towers, three lightening towers, and a level 20 exploder hero.. And this is on "easy" mode.
You "take over a city" by clicking on the battle option when you approach the gates. I am still trying to figure out how to get the achievement "Dictatorship" when ... there doesn't seem to be one hundred towns...
Best combo I have found is--
Frontline
Flying Monkey- Minotaur-Flying Monkey
Back row
Three Bombirds
You can get the Minotaur's criticals up to 10 with a gold egg. This will allow him to take out the front row in the first round (most of the time). The monkeys help with magic (get drain eggs for them). The bombirds can wipe out whatever is left.
Is it just me, or does the computer cheat in Playver vs Computer? My "opponent" will be darkness and death, and then starts playing fate eggs, chaos, earth sheilds, etc. I can never rely on quantum pillars to give me the right mana-- er-- quanta-- whatever. But it seems the comp has a knack for have the perfect card at the perfect time.
Suggestion!
Some of the language is unclear- take the special power ups that the hero's give you. It says "Gives X bonus every time they level up...." Who is "they?" Is it the Hero or the individual unit that is being buffed?
The game seems to be a bit buggy. I got into a fight with pirates, destroyed them all... and the screen never went to the "You are victorious" or whatever. I could only abandon ship or reload the game.
