Honestly, one of the most rewarding games and one of the best puzzle games on the site. Wasn't too long, but it was still stimulating and entertaining the whole way through. I can't wait to see more from you! Congratulations!
Cursed Treasure was one of my favourite TDs on the site. Putting my qualms regarding the art style and having to hold down space to speed up aside - I wish there was a way to change the quality. It's become virtually unplayable due to lag.
It's amazing how much atmosphere you can create with the pixels. The soundtrack was fantastic, loved the eeriness of the howling wind, the crying of the crow, the cat, that strange record. Right from start to finish the suspense was maintained incredibly. I also really appreciated being able to double-click entrances to 'fast travel' into that room. 5/5!
Clever message not only about the ethics of potential extension of human life, but current issues on overpopulation and the injustice of it, especially the mines which are reminiscent of what we see happening in Africa, to provide us with essential minerals we need, but they will never use. Great cross-contextual message. Not really a game though.
Probably one of the better Nerdooks I've played. Music was good and the variety in level styles was also a fresh change from what could have been monotonous. However, there was still a fair bit of grinding needed to upgrade the skills - most of which were needed. And, as usual, the first 10 minutes were spent playing without knowing what was happening. Nonetheless, it was an improvement on Cat God and I do respect you, Nerdook, for putting together a game which despite its shortcomings, still held my interest. 4/5.
One of the most creative and strange games I've played this year - good entertainment, loved the totally trippy cat part - would be great to see more of this kind of originality, 5/5 !
Once you've unlocked all four zones, playing HARD and INSANE becomes unprofitable - you need to spend quite a bit to pass some of them and the payback for each level isn't enough to make is useful.
Management of funds in game is poor, to be completely honest, not actually making the game more challenging, but making it a boring grind.
What about a time trial mode - e.g. completing Easy, Hard and Insane rounds AGAIN in less time than completed initially, then being rewarded in full (e.g. 2000 or 35000 depending on difficulty).
Could we finally have a use for Credits? 5 or 10 million to buy a golden sun? Or maybe full stamina or honour refills for 50+ million?
Currently, they're completely redundant for any player over the level of 100.
Great art direction, runs really smoothly. Love the choice of weapons - really challenging, but not to the point of being frustrating.
Fantastic game, keep up the good work!
