@Slothrop He's changed the theme, but I don't see anything particularly new to the idle genre otherwise. Even if there were substantial innovative components, that alone is not enough to get a 5/5. Something can be unique and a total piece of crap at the same time, would you give that a 5/5 too?
This isn't a bad idle, but it's not a 5/5 for me.
Thanks for the update! Though I'm finding with the new auto-quest filter set to "ignore" I'll come back to find my heroes idle. Switching auto off and on again puts them back to work.
I've set it to accept all times, but limited the XP bottom end to exclude all single hero repeatables, all 4 heroes unlocked. I think they completed a limited quest while on auto before going completely idle, but I'm not sure.
@PetLore Auto quest might get you a level 300 hero at the end of the day, but you can beat the first dimension in 4 hours if you don't take it. Auto quest also usually takes the least efficient quests.
So auto quest isn't useless, it's better than doing absolutely nothing at all. However if you actually want to progress quickly then it's a bad option
2.93g investors, game freezes as soon as I try to sell even one product (70.24f networth per item).
Not much left to the game after you get the vacation skill. Quickly buy all the cash upgrades you can, run one batch of items all the way through, but all the networth upgrades, run vacation, retire.
Do that a few times and your influence will soon be so large that you don't even need to use vacation since each of your clicks does more work than you do 15 minutes idle.
Ignore the person saying focus buttons are pointless. They are only pointless if your party is way stronger than the opposition, which is only the case if you're farming earlier quests too long. Focussing on monsters helps you get through tougher quests faster and also helps you get up to speed after a warp.
At first I couldn't buy the oil company. A refresh fixed that, but then I could upgrade the wells for free leading until I earned infinite money. Soft resetting made the oil company unbuyable again, refreshing worked again.
Any idea where coal and limestone are dropped? I've been getting iron ore since before level 20, but haven't seen any coal or limestone (tried up to level 40).
So on wave 133 the game "froze". Pause button, speed toggle and tower info buttons worked and I could still sell, build and upgrade towers, but none of them were firing and the creeps aren't moving. Before this I also noticed some of the towers I had sold reappeared in the background as unselectable images. They were sold while the game was going slow due to number of projectiles (past wave 100).
Hm, haven't seen a freeze before. The lag gets pretty bad in the later levels, I've added some lag fixes recently, but I don't expect they will do much. At this point I don't think I can do anything to make it better without rewriting most of the game (I'd just make Pixel Defender 2 before I do that). The "ghost" towers happens rarely, I'm not sure why yet but I've only had one other person report it. Looking in to it.
Clickable sponsor link on the in-flight screen is annoying. I get putting it everywhere else, but why in a place where an accidental click interrupts gameplay?
This may shock you fellow players, but I confess to writing a script to play part of the game for me:
Click
wait
click
wait
repeat
It's called "Silver sword buyer". Once I figure out automatic mouse movements, I'll have one for dragon swords too.
It would be great if the +10 and +50 buttons from the skills menu made their way into the market. Trying to make my first epic blade II, need to buy 200 silver swords. One. By. One. With a delay between each one.
We have seen this before with the original Auto-Quest option. We thought we had corrected it. Will take another look! Thanks for letting us know. :)
