Seems a little lazy to have the monster's skills cost 0 mp. Like you're expecting the players to build things efficiently and effectively and you went, "Meh f*ck it. Free skills for all the bad guys." Beyond that, I enjoy it so far.
Definitely fix the interface issues on the computer, trying to control the screen makes me feel like I'm drunk. The energy thing though, that's what's really killing this for me. I am often reaching points where I'm just sitting here staring at the screen waiting to do something. Either come up with something else worthwhile for me to do while I'm waiting for energy to replenish, or consider just getting rid of the energy concept altogether. Other than that, I found the game enjoyable.
I love the feel of this game, but the some of the mechanics are frustrating. I'm on my second estate, and I have absolutely no aluminum nodes, so I'm stuck trying to build up a bankroll with just steel and iron. I am of the impression that if I keep removing obstacles I will eventually find one, but I blew through the obstacle removal items pretty quickly, and between the fact that the trader only comes every 5 minutes and his inventory is random, finding more obstacle removal items is getting tedious. Especially since, if he does have the item, I can only buy one regardless of how much money I have. And then if I'm unlucky I have to wait another five minutes to try again. I think if an item that allowed you to scan to see if a node is available before you used the obstacle removal item was available it would seem less frustrating. Or possibly if the trader had a quantity of more than one for each item, perhaps an exponentially increasing cost to balance it.
Duncan...it auto saves. Boss fight was way too easy. The only difficulty I had in fighting him was staying awake, since it seemed to take far too long. 3/5
This kicks so much ass. Awesome game. Here's mine. I half-assed the last fifteen blocks but it still turned out awesome. My shit rules so hard it should be illegal. Put this in wherever you put things and do to it whatever you do to things that you've put in that place where you put things.
