> but I promise, the AI doesn't cheat
Um. The Black ships are faster than other ships. That's just about the definition of cheating. If I had fast ships I'd probably walk all over other humans players too.
Game froze on level 19. I'm not going through the entire game again just to finish that last level. This game absolutely requires more variety - at the very least it needs ranged weapons, some way to do area-of-effect damage, and probably a class system.
Bug report: the third-level sniper cannon remains locked even though I've bought all of the rest of the weapons and completed the game with all stars. I don't know what caused it. I can probably email you the save file if you can't repro.
Bug report: on boss rush, if you kill Atropos in his lasers-and-missiles phase (lasers coming in from the side, missiles from the top, misc spam from around), the lasers glitch, lengthen to a full screen-width, and become permanent. Beating Tartarus with lasers cutting off all but the middle third of the screen is... difficult.
Small bug: when you right-click, flash decides that your mouse has suddenly moved to the lower-right corner of the screen. Your ship flies off in that direction and you usually die instantly. This could be fixed trivially simply by paused when large discontinuous mouse movements are detected.
A quick tip for the developer: when your entire userbase complains about something, that's a problem. You don't brush it off by telling them to grind more, _especially_ when your suggested mode of grinding doesn't work because upgrades are dependent on the number of enemies you kill in previous waves.
Always use three items when you're merging. The expected value is exactly one result per three inputs; the probabilistic expected value of using two or one item per reaction is one result per four inputs (half a chance to turn two into one means four per one, one-fourth chance to turn one into one means four per one again).
Terrible character progression and dungeon pacing, poor and annoying inventory interface (seriously, just try moving potions around without wasting half of them), unresponsive controls, everything except the jump attacks is useless, and enemies are far too durable.
Good game, especially for education. Two really small gripes, though. First, on the initial run through a level, the level ends instantly if you hit all of the animals. Second, when you leave a level, you lose your setup. You occasionally have to redo a near-complete solution because you placed the second-to-last splitter in the wrong order, which is kind of annoying.
Can't reload or switch weapons behind cover. Can only toggle cover once per second. The only way to kill bad guys is with hitstun. Not very good so far.
Sure, i will send you a pm with the details for you to send me the save.
