If you're still really, really having trouble with the wonder that is Chaos Bolt: Put one point in Aftershock, then max Precision, then Proficiency; after that, with intelligent use of the arcane spells for it, everything will suffer death by lightning. (Keep the 3rd spell active whenever possible)
Consider upgrading minimum damage.

Invest in accuracy and make heavy use of the 100% accuracy arcane version :P With 30% accuracy, I probably wouldn't use it either; 50% is more like it for the damage ^^
One of the things that make this game rare is that you actually have an army helping you; it's not just you.
Not often I come back to play a game several times. Good job.
Epic War 1 was awesome, Epic War 2 was Epic... but then they essentially changed the game. As far as I'm concerned, 1 and 2 are their own series, and they're better.
I got to the last mission on hardened. I switched tabs for a second.
The game crashed, and my save disappeared.
Could be more my tab habits' fault then the game's, but still. It said Game Saved after every mission. I am NOT going through all of that again.
When you max out the plasma gun's damage, it turns into a wave gun. Please bump this so that people can find this out without actually getting it firs.t
It took me forever to realize that you have to stay right under the boss to avoid his bullet hell attack. I kept going as far away as I could trying to dodge it.
That said, I have a suggestion: Please put in a surrender button that can be clicked at times other than your turn, so that you don't have to wait for 50 turns to pass.
More importantly, nerf Heracles. Badly.
@babbelini- As is, unfortunately I don't see any way to improve the current system, it may be optimal as is. I've had battles where it would have lasted longer than 50 turns, and at that point it was get lucky with skills or just go on indefinitely. The 50-turn limit prevents loops. As for the auto option you suggested, making it a win or lose would make battles instantaneous and make the game boring.
