For infest, always carry a microlaser, it helps a lot against their spores. Works best if frame glitched. Also freeze rounds or fusion rounds are excellent since they use no shields.
@Somelame stop using force rounds for turtling, they are actually bad when you want to turtle (unless you have nukes to clear massive groups of ships) as they push back the enemy ships and then they just stack up and destroy you.
@Anastylos No it isn't just a pointless rush to get 25 ore asap. Artillery is pretty much useless in PvP since everyone starts carrying a phalanx and starts to lose effectiveness in campaign on level 40-50 or so as well. The best artillery (iridium rof rof) can go upto level 70 but after the 70s it starts to fall off as well.
@Hydra_X Many of the techs not only stack but do so in a multiplicative manner. So having 4 primers actually gives you 46.41% additional range rather than just 40% (This also stacks with range!) so the max range you can have on a unit is over double of what it's original range is (2 range mods and 4 primers). Rate of fire mods and techs also stack in a similar way, and techs and mods also stack with each other in many cases.
@DCarrier The closest would be to sell all your modded turrets and ships and tech and to start over from level 1. Otherwise you could make a new account.
It has finally come to this, I request all people who are reading this to boycott the user known as "shark_fire255". He has been known to be hacking his pvp rating and also using hacked or unobtainable items in pvp (like a processor with rof mods). To boycott him, simply don't play pvp with him and mute him in chat.
@RebBaseballCap Artillery only works for so long until the enemy starts building faster than the artillery can destroy the structures (somewhere like level 65 if you 2x +20% rate of fire and iridium rounds on the artillery)
@tibor89 Jesus Christ you suck at strategy games. When I started out I immediatly got a phalanx on lvl 1 itself and all the other necessary things. I made it to lvl 6 or so without any miners. I got miners afterwards and those miners had "engine E" which actually slows down their mining still I had no problems with the levels. I actually used my brain to make a strategy to beat the levels unlike you who is just crying in the comments because you can't even beat lvl 6. As you progress further into the game each of the AI's becomes distinct and requires a unique strategy to beat. I specifically beat all 36 stages in lvl 1 just to be sure that I get the phalanx. The lives system is a positive as it stops you from just binging on the game which is bad for you. You can very well beat levels under 1.5 mins with artillery (infact most are done in about 45 seconds)
@midowido Yes the only real challenges are lvl 14 and 15, The rest are pretty easy. You should take full advantage of the frozen death on lvl 14 and its homing capabilities. Try to get the double damage power-up as much as you can.
