I just noticed that there actually is a statistic "time units per test". You can see it in the "Success!" screen after completing a level. This should have been shown on the main menu rather than "Best time" in my opinion.
I think that the "best time" statistic is trivial the way it is presented. The malevolence engine could create something that would take a very long time to check no matter what you've created and that would be your "best time". For example, on the third level, "Lavalamp", the engine gave me a very long series of red and red only and at the very end of it three blues in a row. I felt like this was meant as punishment, but it wasn't logical, as any working setup would have had to go through that whole series to come to the conclusion that it's alright. It would make more sense to have the statistic "highest decisions/time unit" than "best time". That being said, I absolutely love this (kind of) game
That moment... when you find out... your safe of Mardek III... that was carried all the way from Mardek I... is... gone... I... I'm going to lay down for a moment...
Ah, this game brings back so many old memories. Those were the days... I remember I used to love the Night Elves' Whirlers. I remember I didn't know back then how to upgrade them... I still don't... Someone please tell me =_=
We spent like three years on this thing haha. Kongregate is weird sometimes, over at Newgrounds it's got close to 100k views now, it won Student IGF last year, and we've personally got about £250 just in donations by people who want to see it finished (if you really like it enough to donate you can do so at rhythmdr.com). Glad you're playing it here at least :)
I go to sleep, I wake up. I see 5 new messages. ??? After checking I find out ALL of them are from Adventure Capitalist... Seriously, the developers are awesome xD
They should have given this game a badge where you have to complete the game with only knife kills, including the boss. I did that and I felt like a top-class assassin :3
As first I understood why this game is rated so low. I mean come on, I don't care how fabulous those hats or flowerpots are. This game is about damn pants. But THEN. Oh my sweet lord Odin the almighty, then I could CUSTOMIZE THE PANTS WITH SPECKLES, and I could CHOOSE WHICH COLOUR THE SPECKLES ARE. I couldn't be any happier. That was what I thought. BUT THEN, I could suddenly also MAKE THE PANTS STRIPED, STRIPED MATE, STRIPED. But hell if it stopped right there, the next step was setting one half of the pants in a different colour! This is... this is... THIS IS PERFECT. This is a secret long kept wish that came true. 5/5, definitely deserved :D
This game makes me want to jump out of window, pull the first unfortunate driver I see out of his vehicle and smack him right into oblivion. Good Lord I'm pissed. 5/5
That moment you realize Gloria's elemental attacks can be used with multiple targets when you're already lvl 30+ with your entire crew... FUUUUUUUUUUUUU etc. I DID know that some of Legion's and probably a few other characters had skills which you could set both on one or more targets, but I never... I... I'm gonna lay down for a second...
