"You, [Subject Name Here], must be the pride of [Subject Hometown Here]". IF (this did't remind me of Portal) OR (the last statement was a lie) THEN award 5 points AND hope for sequel.
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” I think this is deeply discriminating against women and people of different colors of skin. If this is the result when you make "girl-ier" games, then please stop.
Let me see: this game's graphics look awful, leveling takes forever, it wnats to charge me for speeding things up, its only 2D and its not fun at all. As I can get real 3D FPS for 10$ and less, should I spend money on this game? No, I'm off playing Quake, and Unreal afterwards.
very enjoyable game, I really liked the gameplay and the music. The pixel graphics is also nice, only the lightnings are a little annoying. My main point of criticism is the scoring system, as you are rewarded for lamer tactics. When I was first playing, almost all my point went into weapons uprades, only few in pixel/point/magnet/regen. After about 45 minutes of play I died at level 35 having racked up 19.4 million points. Now today after getting every trophy, I started focusing on points and pixels. But again after approx. 45 minutes playtime, I died at level 58, this time with only 15.2 million points. So the game rewards you for not leveling up, staying still and killing green and purple peons for hours. I think that should be changed. But besides that, it's a great game!
Oh, no way! Not another of these OGame/BattleDawn like games. This has always been tiresome and boring and will always be. Why do games like that get badges? Because its so much fun doing things over and over and over and over? I got the first badge, and thats the extend to which I will be playing this. Until we meet again... on judgement day or beyond.
"Wollt Ihr ewig leben" is most probably a referece to the 1959 movie "Hunde, wollt ihr ewig leben", or the quote attributed to Frederick II of Prussia, "Ihr verfluchten Racker, wollt ihr denn ewig leben?". So it is not only the question weather they wnat to live forever, but more a grumpy "Damn it, do you fear death that much?"
Okay, it's not a 2010 edition, so I understand that the teams don't match. But there is no golden goal anymore. I was lucky enough to win all matches up to the final, but then it started: each time time you tie, an extra half time is added, until someone scores a goal. Strage enough, but one thing: if you chosse to implement golden goal, then dont stop after 45 minutes for change of sides, thats just frustrating if you are just pressing forward. I guess there no 11-m afterwards as you don't directly control the goalie, so OK. But could you make it possible to change your active player? Sometimes players nearer to the ball just stand there, doing nothing. Otherwise the game was well made, I really enjoyed playing until the final, but the ties are just boring. So good with some weaknesses. Could be good (perhaps great), but so it's just average.
Thats about it. Everything else I constantly wish for (like switches or multiple writing bands) would ruin the Turing aspect of the game. It' amazing how little equipment one needs, although some things are hard to wrap your had around if you are used to variables and predefined functions (string comparision etc.). I also liked the music, and the fact that I played this over 10 hours straight is another proof that a good concept is more important than fancy graphics. More levels would be apreciated, especially in the mid-range, the last levels are just to tough for me. So overall, amazing work, one of the best at Kong. P.S.: Do you know "Engineer of the people"?
Great game. At first I thought it would be another "program the robot" game, but its way more than that. It starts out way to easy (just moving the robots), soon gets challenging (moving parts of the input string around) to ridicoulosely hard (adding numbers and stuff). Though I like it very much, I have some things I'd like to have: (1) ALL permutations of the branches, sometimes I dont want the neutral to be in the middle (2) conveyors sensitive to entering, e.g. that will move the robot left or right, depending on what side it enters.
Hmm, I'm not quite convinced. The trumpet sound at the beginning of a round sound really crappy. The concept is quite nice, but I do not like the InstaKill. I'd prefer hitting a target multiple times before it explodes and being able to take some hits. But what really ruins it are the bouncing shots of the tanks. I would also like a different color scheme, at least optinal pale colors would be great. If this would be more customizable, and you would have the chance to start at any level you had previousely reched, it could be great. But like this it unfortunately is below average.
It's a good game. Simple, but fitting graphics and easily understandable game mechanics. The puzzles aren't to hard, quite easy actually, so more and harder puzzles would be apeciated. The music is a little repititive, but not annoying. I would also like to be able to keep the mouse button pressed to gain / spend mass, this would be nice if you want to transfer lots of mass between two shapes. So overall a well made idea with potential, but since now not a lot of replay value.
What a cliche. The good alien against the evil military. Also not very consistent and frustrating: he learns how to emulate legs and a mouth in no time, but not arms. You can not reach soldiers or interact with anything, your value is to be a bullet (and bomb shield) to protect that family. So you are a victim as much as they are. If you believe in that christian "Turning the other cheek" that may be okay, but if you believe in actually responding and fighting back, then this is just pointless. And regarding kormakmans comment: unconditional sacrifice may be considered suicidal tendency.
Proto-Prototype. Whats with the numbers? 0.9, 0.8, 0.70, 0.60 ... first the one Pence digit is omitted, then starting at 0.70 it is used. Then I won 15 Pounds, now not even showing the ten Pence digit.
Rhis is just frustrating. (1) Drawing: I often end up with just monsters or pillars. How about 2 or three drawing piles (2) PVP: How is my opponent chosen? They often have elite / improved and such cards that I have not seen at all, so I loose (3) Points: I am punished for playing the game? I mean, see point two, I loose and loose points? I think loosing would mean "learning a lesson" or at least not loosing experience (4) Quests: 500 Points? Without PVP this takes forever, with PVP also. Perhaps thats easy once you have several thousand points or an advanced deck. But like this it sucks.
