I gave the game another shot. The timed rounds are annoying, and I wish they didn't exist, but the rest of the game is pretty sweet. 4/5 for now, since there is no option for multi-player or vs. computer.
Running FF14.0.1 and having same issue as n00bgylikos. Blacks screen except for what can be interacted with or where I move on screen. Plus the screen sometimes blinks and turns all black again. Also have the red label in the corner. Unplayable until it gets fixed for me.

It's not really speed pool. There are a few levels against the clock, but most of the levels are more about playing the required trickshots
