I see the comment on the sound is still coming up, so I shall comment on my own. If you click the picture of the person with the items(mansion, boat, space station) in the corner, it brings up your stats and the ability to mute the sound. Well this has been a Dark Lord of Fried Chicken message of help of the week, or day, or month, well sometimes heh.
I can live with the energy regeneration and such. But I will agree with other players, the monthly summary needs to be automatic so it doesn't interrupt idle play.
I love idle games, and this one has potential, but I agree the background color switching needs to go. I am not prone to seizures but it gets irritating quite quickly and it ups the lag quite a bit.
