Is it just me or is Kongregate's base becoming more negative than ever? So many 1/5 on BOTDs, because they just don't feel like playing it, but they still want the points.
Good game so far, but really easy. I didn't lose a piece of health until Level 17. Hopefully you'll add some more enemy types and challenges in the future!
Pretty okay point-and-click game but I didn't really feel like I learned a lot about this planet; I felt more like I just meandered through scene to scene with little cohesion. If you do make a sequel, a more immersive setting would definitely be an improvement!
The speed up button, the flexibility of the mages and knights, and knowing what the future waves have make this a great improvement over the original. It's also a hell of a lot harder than the original, but I know I'll beat every map eventually.
It's a simple, yet engaging game. But as a few others said, the lack of a save feature keeps it from becoming a perfect five. I know it can be finished quickly, but it's disheartening to see all that progress vanish.
I had to give in and I used a walkthrough around the late 80s. Around that time, some of the shapes were plain unrecognizable and I still don't see some of them as the answer they are.
Walkthrough - Level 1: Put the cursor on the asterisk. Level 2: Click past the text and find the switch at the lower right. Level 3: Use the arrow keys to move the turtle. Level 4: Move the cursor to the lower left to find "Press K". Level Level 5: Click on the period. Level 6: The 3rd row will say "Just Press L". Level 7: Click and drag to reveal text, then press up up down down left right left right B A enter. Level 8: Press left and right very fast. Level 9: It's a backwards math equation; the answer is four, but write it as "ruof". Level 10: Click the star's points. Level 11: Click the smiley and then follow it with the cursor. Level 12: Click on the asterisks that make more asterisks. Level 13: Click to make the text appear, then click on the apostrophe. Level 14: Use the cursor to reveal the binary code; the answer is "gerbil". Level 15: Type the letters to erase the message, then click the period.
Very atmospheric. Barring one level where I had to look up a walkthrough to find the second note, I didn't have too much trouble beating the game either. Good luck on your future games!
haha you got it!
