Actually, silverfalcon07's information is outdated. Heat and crowns are duplicated for each individual Knight. The only reason why a Knight wouldn't get the same amount of money is if the said Knight joined in the middle of a team in progress. Also, materials are randomly chosen, so don't be surprised if someone is given all the materials.
Actually, crowns are not divided. Every single member gets the crown that a person picks up. However, you will NOT get the same amount of crowns as your teammates if you join in the mission while they're in the middle of it. For example, an open party goes through a mission down two floors, and then you join in. The party members who were there before you got the crowns from the floors before, but you don't get those crowns (otherwise it would be leeching). However, all of you get the crowns on the current floor you're on. The same thing works for heat. For sparks like Grim Sparks, Primal Sparks, and Forge Sparks, every member of the party gets those, although the chat system says that only you get it. Materials, however, are distributed randomly, so don't be surprised if someone gets all the materials. This is from the up-to-date info from the wiki, not from the outdated info two years ago (which silverfalcon07 got his info from).

I've noticed another problem, contracts. Although I don't want the game to be overly complex, I've noticed that the contracts have an overly diverse skill curve. The contracts seem to force the contractor to tailor their skills to fulfill one contract, instead of doing contracts tailored to their skills. For example, longshot contracts are hard to do if one isn't investing in the sniper branches. Likewise, a sniper cannot fulfill a contract requiring a shotgun, simply because the sniper is not built for fighting in close quarters. The solution? Try to produce contracts that 1.) are fair for all classes OR 2.) build a path of contracts for each class. Although this could be a massive request to you guys, it would be able to help future players build a more established sense of "classes". I'm not saying that the contracts themselves are bad, it's just the organization seems cluttered and unrealistic to the players.
There are two things I noted while playing this game.
1. Fall Damage. I know that we aren't supposed to be god-almighty superhumans, but if falling from a 5-foot height is enough to take away 3/4 of one's health, then how is anyone supposed to move quickly?
2. Stairs and ladders. It seems that our walk speed is so fast, that the character gets a little air time, and ends up losing health. Ladders appear to be a one-way trip, which is extremely detrimental to any person trying to move out of the way of mortar-fire and such.
The solution? Implement a decrease in fall damage, make stairs wider and less steep, and take example from Begone. Begone has been able to implement even vertical ladders., and they use a mechanic where the climbers just move up and down. Use that for an example for future ladders.
It is a great game, and can be very addicting. However, the huge turn-off is when the game has a lack of characters (which I KNOW you will fix), the learning curve, and the extremely bad luck I have. I don't know if you know this, but grinding for 50 coins becomes difficult for even a fully maxed out paladin to get, especially when he's fighting the later enemies. Another thing I would like to talk about is the lack of instructions in the guide. You give us an item key, which doesn't really need a guide, but you don't tell us how to fight or navigate. That needs to be told so that at least future players get an idea on how to play. Also, a suggestion is a checkpoint every long interval of floors, because it is VERY disappointing to see your (34 <3 : 7 sword) character get beaten down.
outofthewild, Nade launchers will bring on a whole load of angry kids. We don't want that. However, I ALSO WISH FOR MOOOOOOAAAAAARR WEAPONSS.
BTW, wasnt there a riot shield of sorts in the actual CS?
Very good game, but they need to do something about the guild hall upkeeps and the CE costs. Those rich players selling their CE are just overpricing it like crazy.
Great ideas to the guys below...
But this game really needs lower Mist Energy costs. (Still don't know how to buy CE? Click the bottom right corner with the 4 digits. That will bring up the menus where you can buy CE with Kreds or Crowns.)
That's not bragging, just stating. People these days...
On a side note, you can unequip your shield. Just in case you want to flaunt your bullet-hell style skills.
