For those of you who didn't read my last comment. This game needs to be played in its native width/height. It won't work full-screen.

you can like play this with 2 people if needed, its not really meant for that though.
You need to play at 550 width or less for the game to actually work. If you play on a greater width, it doesn't work.
Yes, this game takes quite a while to get used to, it is pretty hard.

Waveblast, there is one like it. I took the first one, added paths, and wrapped mastery system around it.
Gemcraft is my all-time favorite though because of its rpg-ish system. But I enjoy me a game like frontline also.
TD's are still wildly popular, thats why they are still made. There are plenty of TD's that aren't gemcraft, dtd, bloons, etc that get good ratings. TD are more about balance and choice of towers than they are about something new or spectacular.
Yeah, TD are overdone, but then so are match-3 games, those random Geometry war shooter. No one ever says anything about them though.
Well, most of those TD's are exact clones of a tutorial
